thanks pitchfork. i felt some of his deliveries on this lp, particularly in the earlier bits of the track listing were more charged n heady than any of the stuff from 4eva, n a lot of production choices really got me good (luv the off snare hits, really complement the overall structure of the instrumentals in stuff like hometown hero). i appreciate that 4eva sees him developing more of a social awareness n he reinforces his personality a bit there, but i like this one as well.
