hi typh ;u; How's it been?

Been better. Ran into a setback irl but not as upset as I thought I would be about it. Laptop is too pricey to fix and have to wait until next year again to get back into vet tech. How about you?

That sounds awful and unfair. What happened to your laptop? No computer access means your studies have to be interrupted?

I've been really stressed out and not doing very well in school, so yea. I could be better as well )':

Well at least I have a tablet to keep me connected. It does suck though since there's a limit for what I could do with it. I mean it's only real perk is that it's easier to draw on although I keep getting distracted so they are half finished.

As for the laptop itself, the part where you plug in the charger is messed up so it can't charge and apparently it's an expensive fix since its a newer model. Lucky(?), I've been out of school when it broke so it was as devastating as it would have been.

So school getting tough for you? It is that time of year. Stopped by my school yesterday to sort stuff out and saw someone break down and cry. Hope that's not the case for you lol

Lol, no emotional breakdowns for me... but I wouldn't be surprised if I ended up failing one or two courses this semester, sigh.

Why have you been out of school, then? Did anything bad happen?

Well... I was in the vet tech program and i did well in my classes. They issue was that I had very little experience so when it came time to do an externship last summer, I did poorly since I couldn't learn everything quick enough. So I was forced to leave the program since that was considered a core class. Been volunteering since but it wasn't enough although they said that they want me to keep going because I finally built myself a good foundation and that I should now work on my more technical skills.

Since I've been kicked out of the program, there was nothing for me to take so had to take time off from school. Not the end of the world though since I can take one class this summer to complete another program I was doing (animal care specialist). That's much better than letting another year go by.

I'm so sorry to hear that )': I didn't mean to pry. It sounds like things were out of your control, and that must've been disappointing for you. I hope you'll be able to find another way and things will still work out. I'm rooting for you!

Ah no worries.Thanks pom! n_n It's nice to have someone to talk to about it. Tbh though, after sorting things out and knowing what went wrong, I did feel better. Before that I thought I pretty much wasted all that time but I now know that I'm on the right track and I still have a ways to go if this is something I want to do. Sure it's disappointing that I wasn't good enough to return to the program yet but nothing I can do besides work on my skills more and hope for the best.
