I can easily go ahead and do this - it'll make users happy and can also be ignored too just like the profile thread. At least having that for new users would be awesome, given the thread wasn't about the profile change thread - it was about new users which was locked without getting a solution to the problem.

I mean if the idea of a thread existing is bad then make all new users automatically added to a Congo with me and I can point them in the right direction and they can leave the comvo when they're done.

The pm idea actually wouldn't be that bad honestly, if you changed notifications to happen only once a day.

Or if that sucks I can manually pm every single new user but a thread would probably be a bit easier on my part.
