B-rank meme song, nice n respectable but lacked widespread use. Could probably be ranked higher if more interest was given, due to its avant-garde roots. As a real song it's "nothing special", so it's sitting in an uncaney valley of average song but usable meme, so unless the meme is good and supports the use there's really nothing good about it; it's not BAD so u can't be ironic about it and it's not "great" so really it's just a waste of time. It had its chance but not anymroe

and yeah it is a pretty good meme to make fun of on the internet, but what do you think of its use in real life, both ironically and unironically? It is a very common song for WGWAGs (White Guys With Acoustic Guitars) who are first learning guitar who are trying to pick up girls

I literally never heard of the song until I saw it as an internet meme, so honestly. It's not. effective. Nor does it even happen! It was just something "nerds" could latch onto to destroy the "popular" image

maybe not anymore because there are now newer and easier pop songs to learn and play on guitar
