its VERY rare that people think that's the right choice

like I was always torn between doing nothing and saving the many but then I read this article about Digimon and the author was saying "he doesn't want to fight because he could accidentally hurt people. of course, not fighting means people are going to get hurt anyway, but at least this way he is not directly responsible" and I just thought that was an interesting perspective. That way you are not directly responsible for killing anyone, although I think it would weigh hard on your conscience no matter which you chose

I mean it can. Like let's say there was an option that would save everyone, then in that case wouldn't inaction be the wrong choice? But someone is gonna die anyway so inaction is not a bad choice
