So you notice how after the train incident, Senator Beriam gives Rachel that envelope full of money. And afterward she takes it to the ticket guy and asks for as many tickets as it could buy, stating that it was "for everything up till now." It made me wonder, was she maybe on the government's radar or something and that was his subtle way of telling her that he knew about her crime (which honestly is not that severe so that kinda hurts it) by giving her exactly the amount of money she needed?
It would be an interesting theme for her character considering how she is in the business of spying and getting information, and it turned out that the government had dirt on her. Maybe the Daily Days was even involved considering the president knows her reasons and explains them later.
