I used to live in Downtown Manhattan and it was really bad xD Luckily we didn't lose electricity or access to water during hurricane sandy, but i remember my aunt filled all our bathtubs (we had 3) with water just in case. It was a scary experience and we couldnt even leave our home. we were told to evacuate since we were right in the danger zone (lived next to the Hudson River, and obviously had a huge risk) but you know xD we didnt go and nothing bad happened (luckily)
