honestly that is my biggest problem with TDKR like there was no reason it had to be 8 years. If it was like 2 or 3 that would be ok. 8 is too long it seems like the city didn't even change after 8 years. Like Blake saying "when you and Dent cleaned up the streets" like it was yesterday. It's been 8 years this guy would have just grown up with it he wouldn't have known any different
