thoughts on people that hold open an automatic door?

why would you hold open an automatic door; there's so many doors on my school that you press them a little and they open the rest of the way, idg why people hold them open after that

I'm not familiar with those kinds of doors. Only automatic doors I know are either button operated or use the sensors

when I thought you meantioned holding the door I thought it was an automatic door that you press and then you were holding it fsr, people do that at my school as well, i do not get it

well it is a normal door. there's a button to open it that is mainly for the handicapped, but anyone can use it

don't push the button because the door is ALREADY OPEN because I AM HOLDING IT ????

you know automated doors exert a lot of force, they deceptively slow but they are powerful. like if you pressed the button and the door hit me it would really hurt.
