btw, my team builder in showdown for gen 7 monotype seems weird. it shows deoxys speed and defense, landlords and necrozma ultra as Uber but allows them to be used? and others like mega meta gross are not allowed? Is there a specific bandits for this SM monotype cup?

I found this https://www.smogon.com/resources/competitive/sm/sm_monotype_primer it has a list of illegal Pokemon, is that what I should go off of?

Yes confirming... U will get the list of things which is banned and when u building u can check if team is valid by validate button on teambuilding
