Except it doesn't work that way. The OP explicitly states that the lowest priority move of the two linked moves would be the priority used. So, in this case, Protect would only work if the opponent was slower than Aggron, which probably isn't happening.

Just inherit from Exploud. It has a better movepool overall and allows it to still have scrappy Boomburst. It allows you to run better coverage. You really only lose Agility, but it seemed like an afterthought.

I have really never seen a rain team without thundurus. I like your idea with raikou, but i might use hidden power (ice) over extremespeed if you got hidden power (ice) though. That is my opinion, anyway
