  1. OU Simple Questions, Simple Answers (Read the OP First!)

Now that Landorus-I has been banned, what would be a good replacement for its Sheer Force set?
  2. Counter that Pokemon - Mk IV [FINAL MATCH - Team 1 won!]

Jirachi can come in on Kyurem after it has taken a kill and proceed to flinch him to death. Also, your Kyurem is susceptible to Mach punch
  3. Counter that Pokemon - Mk IV [FINAL MATCH - Team 1 won!]

Focus Blast's low accuracy means that you can be haxed out of OHKOing the Weavile and denting the Terrakion while they break your multiscale and proceed to finish you off (though Terrakion does have the possibility to miss SE. However, SE has a higher chance of hitting than Focus Blast). Also...

G-Von, Zapdos cannot be toxic if it is already asleep. Melee Mewtwo's Swampert looks good right now as it can switch in on Zapdos without worries.
  5. Counter that Pokemon - Mk IV [FINAL MATCH - Team 1 won!]

I was a tad too late. :( But I wonder how 252Atk/212Hp/44Def Adamant CB Huge Power Azumarril would fare against team 2. It is 2HKO by Terrakion and can OHKO back with Superpower. It can take 2hits from Zapdos and OHKO back with SR.
  6. Counter that Pokemon - Mk IV [FINAL MATCH - Team 1 won!]

I realized that CB Azumarill OHKO Terrakion with Superpower while having the chance to live a CC (31.25% according to honko. We can tweak the stats abit such that it survives). It also OHKOs Zappy after rocks with Waterfall and Ice Punch. Zapdos can only 2HKO back. What do you guys think?
  7. Counter that Pokemon - Mk IV [FINAL MATCH - Team 1 won!]

Terrakion and Keldeo seem to be the best picks right now, as they counter Tyranitar, Zapdos biggest threat. also agreeing with Ganj4IF on the topic of Lando-T. However, Terrakion cannot OHKO Lando for sure even with SR. I guess Latias also works well in the sense that it outsped Lando and can...
  8. Counter that Pokemon - Mk IV [FINAL MATCH - Team 1 won!]

Itachi, I can't see Jellicent performing very well against Tyranitar, which deals massive damage with Pursuit. 252+ Atk Choice Band Tyranitar Crunch vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Jellicent: 590-696 (146.03 - 172.27%) -- guaranteed OHKO Stone Edge: 91.33 - 107.67% Crunch: 146.03 - 172.27% Pursuit: 73.26 -...
  9. Counter that Pokemon - Mk IV [FINAL MATCH - Team 1 won!]

I think the Gyrados picks are the best. They resist Lando's coverage moves and are immune to its main STAB. I feel that Cherub Agent's Gyrados is the better of the two Gyrados submissions so far, as it provides t2 with offensive momentum and can set up on defensive mons, making it a huge threat...
  10. Counter that Pokemon - Mk IV [FINAL MATCH - Team 1 won!]

So glad to see this project back up again with a fix to the bandwagoning issue in the last CtP. Hello to all the guys who participated in the last version. I'll probably submit a set later
  11. (Warstory) An Invitation to a Couch Party

Yay, the warstory's up. I think both players did a very good job here. Can't wait for the next CtP!
  12. OU Playstyles - Week #01 [Hyper Offense]

One thing about HO teams is that almost all of them run Deo-D. I have a DragMag team on PS! that actually worked quite well, but I think it is lacking something.
  13. Simple Questions & Simple Answers & General Resources (OU Edition) MK II

Quick question. Why do some players dislike running two Scarfers on the same team? Is there something wrong with doing so?
  14. Counter that Pokemon - Mk III [Team 2 won!]

That was a close match. Team one still won though. The thing I wasn't too comfortable with was the fact that Celebi had to sponge hits from both Rotom and still have to remain alive in case Lando decided to pull a late game sweep. Heatran was taking a shit ton from Volt Switch
  15. Counter that Pokemon - Mk III [Team 2 won!]

I think the best way to solve this issue of bandwagoning is to, like dragontamer suggested, is to include a description of why you voted for the mon. The description cannot come from the nominator's original post and no quotes can be included in the reply. Furthermore, anybody reading the post...
  16. Victim of the Week: Week 6, Volcarona

The best counters to Jitachi, like may have already said, are Heatran, Quagsire, Hippowdown. Gliscor and the Landorus forms are also good but have to be wary of Water Pulse and Ice Punch. Something to note though, CM Jirachi is quite common on rain teams. Rain will make it harder for Heatran...
  17. Counter that Pokemon - Mk III [Team 2 won!]

I think all of us who participated in the selection of team two's fifth mon (Scizor) were really disappointed with the results. I find it weird that a whole bunch of people came up out of no where and voted for Scizor without participating in the submission phase. After that, they just...
  18. Counter that Pokemon - Mk III [Team 2 won!]

    Cyaradex's Infernape
  19. Counter that Pokemon - Mk III [Team 2 won!]

I agree with futuresuperstar that Skarmory was not that great a pick, but for different reasons. The Skarm set had to be customized to run from Zone, hence its Shed Shell. Why did Skarm have to run from Zone? Because of Scizor, which had no way whatsoever of dealing with Zone (no U-turn or...
  20. Counter that Pokemon - Mk III [Team 2 won!]

The Infernape set seems like it will wreck team two. Seems like ths will end like last time. :( I was really hoping for team two to win this time.
