  1. Reflecting on BW and Looking Ahead to Gen VI - SEE POST #508

Concerning Skarmory evolution: Even if they don't make the evolution that much stronger like they did with Dusclops, we know one thing for sure. Eviolite Skarmory would be stupid as fuck. Ridiculously overpowered. You'll basically be making it into a pretty damn good special wall as well as a...
  2. Reflecting on BW and Looking Ahead to Gen VI - SEE POST #508

Oh god, no. You only patched up it's HP...but you do know what a Skarmory evolution means, right? Skarmory with fucking eviolite. Skarmory with eviolite will become a fucking unstoppable mixed wall. There would be very few, (if any) pokemon that could even dent that thing. But on the bright...
  3. Gen 5 The OU Viability Ranking thread

It's not that hard to get a boost with Cloyster. Just set up on any physical attacker not named Terrakion. Your problem is you're setting up on special attackers.
  4. Gen 5 The OU Viability Ranking thread

Cloyster for A Rank Reserved for Pokemon who can sweep or wall significant portions of the metagame, but require some support or have some flaws that prevents them from doing this consistently. Supporting Pokemon in this rank may give opponents free turns or cannot create free turns...

I'll support this as long as they more than one weakness. We definitely don't need an unaware pokemon with the defenses of Ferrothorn but is only weak to a type that doesn't get used often. That would be broken as shit.
  6. So many weather teams... Is non-weather viable?

We have Starmie and Alakazam who are solid OU pokemon being A and B tier respectively. That's enough to deal with fighting types. Not to mention there are fast Pokemon that are not psychic but can learn psychic moves. I repeat: I admit fighting types are pretty tough to stop but not unstoppable.
  7. BW2 General Metagame Discussion Thread

Good. Venusaur is already irritating enough under the sun.
  8. So many weather teams... Is non-weather viable?

No it wouldn't. Dragons are not even that overpowered, and neitehr are fighting types. There's a reason Salamence/Garchomp are not uber this genration. Hell if multiscale dragonite existed in D/P it would be uber as well. There are too damn many ways to check them...hell I'd argue that there...
  9. OU Stats - December 2012

Yall act like cloyster is as bad as farfetch'd or some shit. Last time I checked it was B tier. Does B tier equal shit in OU or something? It can sweep entire teams when the opponent is not careful. It can be stopped with taunt, priority users and Keldeo but once those are out of the way...
  10. So many weather teams... Is non-weather viable?

You're kidding yourself if you think Non-weather isn't extremely limited because of weather. With that being said, it still is viable but like I said you're forced to use certain Pokemon. Weather has killed originality in Pokemon.

Another idea for a move: Constancy Room Type: Psychic Acc: 100% Power: - PP: 20 For the next 10 turns, the Pokemon that moves first is based solely on the Pokemon's speed sat and nothing else. If one Pokemon is faster than its opponent and the opponent has a choice scarf or has a priority...
  12. Reflecting on BW and Looking Ahead to Gen VI - SEE POST #508

They need to give Ninetale and Politoed abilities that function like Drizzle and Drought but under different names. Nerf their abilities and make them like a one time use Rain Dance/Sunny Day only lasting a few turns. That way the legendaries can keep their permanent weather. It would stay in...
  13. Reflecting on BW and Looking Ahead to Gen VI - SEE POST #508

Ok maybe it doesn't need 140 attack especially since it also has 110 special attack...but I feel like a bulky ice type is an oxymoron since icne is a an awful defensive typing. I also don't get why people are saying there's a power creep. Look at Machamp, Rhydon, Alakazam and Gengar. They are...
  14. Reflecting on BW and Looking Ahead to Gen VI - SEE POST #508

I'd like to see an Ice/Fighting type with good offensive stats (say 60/140/50/110/55/135). It would bet pretty awesome. Ice/Fighting is easily the best offensive typing possible getting super effective STAB damage on 9/17 types of the game. I'd also like to see more type diversity when it...
  15. Reflecting on BW and Looking Ahead to Gen VI - SEE POST #508

There's like a total of three Pokemon with either of those abilities. Mean look gets no priority so if you send out your trapper they'll be able to switch. The idea behind the trap orb is that it is activated as soon as the Pokemon is brought into battle and the opponent can't switch out until...
  16. Reflecting on BW and Looking Ahead to Gen VI - SEE POST #508

I also have an idea for a new item. Item: Trap Orb Description: As the user enters the battle it uses this item to lay down a barrier that prevents the opponent from switching for one full turn. (Not counting the turn that the switch happens.) The effect is applied as soon as the user enters...
  17. Reflecting on BW and Looking Ahead to Gen VI - SEE POST #508

Pokemon is not a logical game at all. Don't even go there. An 80lb human can fly on a 4 pound pidgey for fuck's sake. Also, a lot of moves do not make sense in context. Gastly can lean Fire Punch despite having no arms at all. There's no reason there can't be a homing rock type of attack or some...
  18. Reflecting on BW and Looking Ahead to Gen VI - SEE POST #508

Fuck it, they should make stone edge 100% accurate and take away the crit rate. OR make a move that fits that criteria. It'll be like Earthquake. Earthquake is the most well balanced move in Pokemon. Why not?
  19. Reflecting on BW and Looking Ahead to Gen VI - SEE POST #508

I would actually want to see a couple of new moves along the lines of these: 1.) Soft Clouds Type: Normal Power: - Accuracy: - PP: 20 Priority: 0 Description: Places a cloud around the opponent's team that softens the opponent's defenses upon switching in. Lowers the opponent's attack and...
