    Pokémon Greninja

Basically, Timid/244 Spd will outspeed base 120s. I'd say that's the best place to let up, unless you're concerned about the speed tie with other Greninjas.

    Pokémon Greninja

Water Shuriken is pretty gimmicky, imo. Without Skill Link, it's unreliable, especially without investing in Attack. It also doesn't do much to Talonflame, since he outspeeds you (Base 126 Speed according to Serebii), and ties with you for priority thanks to Gale Wings. Maybe on a dedicated...

    Pokémon Greninja

To be honest, I don't see the point of Protect. It doesn't really help you counter anything new compared to the standard moves, such as U-turn (let's you escape), Grass Knot (Bulky Waters), Dark Pulse (Ghosts), Extrasensory (Tentacruel, I guess, but rather go with...) or HP: Electric (Gyarados...

    Pokémon Greninja

Well, how much does Power-Up Punch do to Chansey/Blissey/Snorlax/Tyranitar/etc? At +1, +2? I think that's really the hinge on whether or not Physical Greninja works - can he beat the popular Special Defense walls/sponges (which we have no idea about yet) with his current pool?

    Pokémon Greninja

Greninja @ Life Orb Ability: Protean EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 Atk Hasty Nature - Grass Knot - Hidden Power [Fire] / U-turn - Hydro Pump - Ice Beam I think it's pretty clear that this is going to be the definitive set for Greninja. Spikes/Toxic Spikes are looking to be pretty mediocre, and...

    Pokémon Greninja

Glad that people are finally doing calcs here. It's looking a lot better now. It definitely has counters, but those are probably limited to the faster tiers/priority. Even so, I do think it's probably OU now.

Resource ORAS OU Simple Questions, Simple Answers (Read the OP First!)

They have the exact same stat distribution, so just use that Yveltal spread you saw.

    Pokémon Kangaskhan

Has anyone looked at Mud-Slap at all? -2 Accuracy is a LOT, and really hurts its counters, which rely on Fighting moves like Focus Blast and Hi Jump Kick to take it out. Unfortunately not available yet (HGSS move tutor), but probably a potent force.

Pokémon the starters role in the metagame

Frosslass was a spin-blocking spike-layer last generation, and still was only BL. Fast, frail Spikes users are sort of mediocre anyways, and only got weaker thanks to Defog/Rapid Spins increased distribution this gen. Suicide-leads in general are worse. I honestly don't think that Greninja will...

Pokémon the starters role in the metagame

I'm no Breeder, but I'm not sure if it counts as an Egg Move. I hope so, but I'm not holding my breath. Maybe it'll learn some other coverage moves this generation too. Dazzling Gleam would be an ok substitute.

Pokémon the starters role in the metagame

I honestly don't see Greninja cutting it in OU. Protean is nice, but it's really not going to help with how limited his movepool is. We probably wouldn't be talking about him at all if it wasn't for the Rapid Spin rumour. Serperior actually lost Dragon Pulse this generation, so it's down to...

Other Predictions for good leads from the new pokemon?

Gigadrain/Energy Ball are always options. I think the biggest risk to Galvantula is Defog.

Other Predictions for good leads from the new pokemon?

Oh yeah, Bug Buzz is a sound move, which goes through Substitute. Probably a Top 3 user, along with Volcarona and Yanmega.

Other Predictions for good leads from the new pokemon?

Galvantula is going to be extremely common, if the Sticky Web Hype Train arrives at Luminoise station. Compound Eyes Thunder is pretty good on it's own too.
