  1. Pokémon Klefki

if you aren't a top ladder player then why shit on it =[ I have multiple accounts in the top 500 so i've played the new metagame extensively, and it's extremely strong in the right environment. Sableye + klefki can put an end to any sweeper you can think of together, and can stall almost the...
  2. Pokémon Klefki

you aren't going to be a good swagplay user in one day dude. Once you get down how to use it and compliment it, it is much stronger then what you have described. from your brief description I already know you are using it terribly terribly wrong and still probably doing decent with it.
  3. Pokémon Klefki

all magic bounce users get destroyed by foul play, so they are a terrible counter to it. Xatu, espeon, and mega absol all get 2 shot by foul play. absol is so weak that even though he resists it, his attack/defense stats are so lopsided that he dies in 2 foul plays.
  4. Pokémon Klefki

As an example of hard proof of what a completely luck based strategy can do, I made a swagplay team. mandibuzz, klefki, sableye as my swagplay users. trevenant for curse, which bypasses substitute. Tyranitar for lead/weather damage/SR Excadrill for revenge kills/rapid spin This team went...
  5. Pokémon Excadrill

lol @ surprise mold breaker when it yells it in caps at you on the screen. funniest post ive read in a while
  6. Move Infestation (and trapping moves in general)

steels ruin pretty much every trapping set due to being immune to toxic, wait until the tiers settle out. Steel is popular but it is also a high tier typing for the most part, when cradily gets dropped into RU/NU and the lack of steel types then he will be quite good.
  7. Move Infestation (and trapping moves in general)

you forgot about cradily....he gets stockpile so his bulk can quickly get out of control and he gets both infestation and toxic, as well as recover. he's one of the best trappers there is.
  8. Pokémon Chesnaught (Revamp Occurring)

subseed with 2 attacking moves seems like his best set. if you are playing a stall team then you can take out a move for toxic/spikes
  9. Pokémon Noivern

if you are running the switcheroo set it doesn't make sense to use frisk really. Once they realize you don't have infiltrator klefki and gengar and whatnot are obviously going to set up sub and see what they are up against. You could potentially waste a turn and then be very far behind...
  10. Official Smogon University Gen VI Simulator Statistics — October 2013

a much better use of your slot then a rock move would be to give heatran roar so it has utility outside of just talonflame. This crushes talonflame in particular due to its 4x weakness to SR, so it hates to get phased
  11. Official Smogon University Gen VI Simulator Statistics — October 2013

no, since talonflame will obviously never stick around to fight a heatran
  12. XY Pokémon Models

as some one already said swoobat is the only one that I actually noticed how terrible it looked since I don't pay attention to this stuff too much really. its a little fat troll bat that looks disgusting, and I don't think it is supposed to look like that given the bw sprites
  13. Official Smogon University Gen VI Simulator Statistics — October 2013

rotom-w is the most common switch in to talonflame usually since it can volt switch right out or predictably WoW whatever comes in and obviously resists both STABs. WoW does not cripple rotom-w at all.
  14. Other I've Got the Priority!

how did crawdaunt even get to aqua jet a talonflame? one brave bird and its dead, its defenses are garbage
  15. Ability Sand Veil + Snow Cloak - Balanced now?

i'd rather play against evasion then another prankster swagger user. oh you got paralyzed the one chance you had to kill me? ah well too bad you lose now.
  16. Hardest Relative NPC

the gold/silver elite 4. I refused to use items or legendaries as a kid( still do but obviously the game is much easier now) and that elite 4 is incredibly hard if you don't use your ho-oh/lugia.
  17. Pokémon Clefable

no point in using moonlight with it's low PP and cut by weather, just use softboiled
  18. Other I've Got the Priority!

yup priority teams that have access to swords dance are pretty hard to stop atm. There is no real definitive wall for physical like there is for special (blissey/chansey) meaning that whenever your opponent switches in their counter and you have to switch out, they are getting a free swords...
  19. Pokémon Barbaracle

this dudes a good talonflame check. switch him in and eat either of his STABs, then on the switch out get a free shell smash. from there though he still gets murdered by priority. Real shame he doesn't get aqua jet or something
  20. Pokémon Florges

assault vest also kills most of what florges has going for it. Reasons to take it over blissey - Wish support (huge) - fairy STAB/fairy typing (huge) - can put out some decent damage with moonblast (minor) cons - less tanky - have to run protect usually with wish if you need the healing...
