    Pokemon BDSP Playthrough Discussion

I've been meaning to try out my newly caught Heatran and Latios to get some BP in the tower singles, what would be a good third member? And my Latios has DPulse/Psychic/Recover, but I'm not too sure on the last move. It's best coverage options are SwSh only (Aura Sphere and Mystical Fire). Any...

SPOILERS! Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Data Dumps

Cynthia's DP Garchomp, which already gave people nightmares, was level 62 had zero EV investment, a Quirky nature and a Sitrus Berry, though it did have perfect IVs. Her current one is Jolly, has a Yache Berry, has an EV distribution of 52 HP/252 Atk/204 Spe and is four levels higher at the...

SPOILERS! Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl Data Dumps

Do we know about trainer items? Wondering how many Full Restores Cynthia is packing. Considering the return of the VS Seeker, are there any particularly useful trainers for levelling and EV training?

SPOILERS! Pokemon Sword and Shield Datamine Thread

I would very much prefer that Mega Punch/Kick stay as Normal-type moves. With the loss of Return, physical Normal-types and physical users of -ate abilities lose a very important move. Having MPunch as a 90/100% move and MKick as a 110/90% (similar to Flamethrower/Fire Blast) would be ideal in...

SPOILERS! Pokemon Sword and Shield Datamine Thread

Do we know if they changed the base power/accuracy of any moves besides Rapid Spin and Multi Attack? I feel like physical Normal types are going to miss Return a lot, since Body Slam and Double Edge have somewhat limited distribution.

SPOILERS! Pokemon Sword & Shield Pre-Release SPOILERS - Check Post 2!

If Cursola follows the same train of thought of it's Johto pre-evo, then it's going to be a physically bulky Ghost type with Spikes. That by itself is a good niche, though it is possible that it will face competition with Runegrigus.

Gen VII: Pokemon Sun and Moon Discussion MKIII *Official Media Only*

I can't help but notice that the naibaa from Junaibaa's name is supposed to sound like sniper. Wonder what the English name will be.

Pokemon Sun and Moon Demo Datamine + Full Game Leaks Collection (Read the OP)

I noticed that some of the Ultra Beast's bodies evoke materials that don't fit Pokémon types. UB-01 is made of glass, there is also paper (the white one), carbon (black), copper (the wire one) and cloth (green). It may just be my impression, but it's kinda cool.

Pokemon Sun and Moon Demo Datamine + Full Game Leaks Collection (Read the OP)

If this was my first contact with Rowlet's evolution, I wouldn't have liked it at all. Probably because of the awkward pose. So maybe I'll get a better impression of the Toucan Pokémon when I see it moving. I'm still kinda salty that we didn't get the names, though.

Gen VII: Pokemon Sun and Moon Discussion MKII

I'd really like the concept of Ultra Beasts being non-Pokémon JRPG bosses. Everything about UB-01 feels really alien for me. They could have pseudo-types (like: weak to Dragon, Normal and Bug, resist Fairy, Fire and Steel and immune to Flying, without having any particular typing), use...

Gen VII: Pokemon Sun and Moon Discussion MKII

One thing that nobody has pointed out: the description states that, to use a Z-Move, the Pokémon is required to know a move of that type and hold the corresponding Z-Crystal. It doesn't say that the Pokémon must be of that type. So you can use coverage Z-Moves.

Gen VII: Pokemon Sun and Moon Discussion MKII

Poké Ride sorta implies that you won't need HMs to move around the overworld. Yes! It also implies that Defog won't come back as an HM. No!

Gen VII: Pokémon Sun and Moon (New info Post #5834)

Based on its design and gimmicky-sounding ability, I feel like Mimicyu is not going to evolve. I wonder if the Pikachu outfit will bring Electric moves with it; I can see it learning Thunderbolt and Nuzzle. As for the super moves, one way I can see it being done is that each diamond has an...

It seems in the trailer like Tapu Koko's ability instantly uses Electric Terrain upon switching in.

Gen VII: Pokémon Sun and Moon (New info Post #5834)

This continous footage shows Zygarde's 10%->100% a bit better. Since it's base HP increases drastically, it "heals" most of the percentual damage caused by Dragon Claw.
