OU CCAT: Zoroark [See Post #663]

IMO the sheer lack of posts in recent weeks is a good indication of the communities position towards the CCAT. People either got discouraged the moment Zoroark was chosen (me included), or they got discouraged later when they realized how ridiculously hard to use (read: crappy) Zoroark is. It's...

Heatran @ Air Balloon Nature: Modest/Timid Ability: Flash Fire EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe / 4SpD - Fire Blast - Earth Power - Dragon Pulse - Hidden Power Grass / Stealth Rock With its fantastic combination of resistances and power Heatran is a blessing for a hyper offense team. Besides manhandling...

Life Orb Flamethrower & Substitute Heavy Offense (Rain or Weatherless)

Substitute is the way to go in the forth slot as it works well on so many pokemon which are also viable on an offensive team, helping us with the Illusion mind games. Yeah, Substitute + weatherless offense all the way.

Weatherless Offense: Mortagua (Spike-Stacking Volt-Turn Heavy Offense) ginganinja (good stuff offense) YoUserName (Dual Screen Heavy Offense) Sun Offense: French Orgy with Belzebuth by Grimm70 First I wanna express how disappointed I am about our choice for the CCAT. Zoroark is simply...

When I was using Staraptor I honestly didn't care much about SR being on my field, when there is an opportunity to get him in safely throw that bird in there and punch some really big holes in the opponents team. I did have rapid spin support, but when I could bring Staraptor in after something...

    1. Staraptor (SubRoost) 2. Metagross (Agility) 3. Lucario (CSpecs or NP) 4. Kingdra (Rain Dance) 5. Alakazam (Life Orb) I have tested that Staraptor set a little, and I must say it absolutely murders stuff. Little can stay in the way of its Brave Bird alone, making it excellent at faking a...

Good to see this up. I followed the last one very closely, even thought I didn't participate. I even tested the team before it was finished and must say that Nidoking's power is amazing. But lets get to the point, I'd like to nominate one of my favorite pokemon with a set that was a beast last...

When I first saw those base stats, I was more than just disappointed. But Swimming Googles is just an god sent here (as it is for probably all water types). I could hardly think of a better stat spread now factoring swimming googles, as too much speed would be overkill. The only problem I have...

Of course he will, because he love taking repeated Surfs/Waterfalls to the face. Same as Suicune will stop Rain with Water Absorb while Thunders (possibly even STAB'd ones) will be flying around everywhere. What's wrong with you people? Ttar can probably stop Sun, but rain? No way.

I'm extremely disappointed by the starters... but this guy: #566Aaken (Lv. 37 -->) #567Aakeosu Rock/Flying "Weak-kneed" HP: 75 Atk: 140 Def: 65 SpA: 112 SpD: 65 Spe: 110 OH GOD YES!!! Aerodactyl on steroids, a lot of steroids. 567 BST if those are correct, would be the highest of all non...

Pokemon Black and White (SPECULATIONS ALLOWED HERE)

Why does everyone have a problem with the evos? Yes, they look different to their prevos, so does Gyarados, who cares? I think the Water and Grass final evos look amazing. Fire is an ugly fusion of two extremely ugly things in themselves (Rhyperior and Magmortar, and, I'm afraid to say it, but...

Pokemon Black & White, aka Gen 5. Coming to Japan in Fall 2010.

Woot for Reshiram being Fire/Dragon. Screw Stealth Rock, that thing will be rampaging trough pretty much everything with it's awesome STAB, if it gets the right offensive stats that is. From his appearance I was thinking Reshiram would have awesome bulk and ok offenses, but with this typing I...

Pokemon Black & White, aka Gen 5. Coming to Japan in Fall 2010.

Its abilities are Intimidate & Earthquake Spiral (じしんかじょう) which raises its attack when the opponent is Knocked Out. So umm, am I like the only one who thinks that Earthquake Spiral is a little bit ridiculous? If that thing gets Agility is will be hell to stop it. A simple Scarf set would...

Yes, Earthquacke being everywhere would pretty quickly turn that "balancing" into "uselessness". If we have learned anything from generation IV then that is that good typing (aka good resistances and/or few weaknesses) is more important than raw stats to be good defensively.

Pokemon Black & White, aka Gen 5. Coming to Japan in Fall 2010.

I think Reshiram is so far one of the best looking legendaries they've made and looks a lot better than Zekrom. Not that I don't like Zekrom's appearance, but it's just too much of a cliche evil robot/cyborg thingy, while Reshiram looks really majestic, something they've failed to do with most...

Pokemon Black & White, aka Gen 5. Coming to Japan in Fall 2010.

I like those ideas a lot as well. Sturdy would be awesome if it did that. But even if Inner Focus prevented flinching from it I doubt that Lucario would ever use Focus Punch over Close Combat on the SD set, as he can't afford to go last against something like Swampert, and Focus Punch would most...
