Funnily enough I considered a Modest Nature as well. Kinda forgot in the end that I wouldn't need to invest EVs into Speed and go for HP like you did.

I've kinda gone for a Relaxed nature, given the low Speed stat. Just breeding some Applin eggs in preparation so who knows?! Maybe I'll breed an Impish Applin as well. Cheers!

Additionally, I did manage to hatch 2 6IV Remoraids with the Hustle ability. I can always send one of them over to my Shield game and use an Ability Patch but I want to hatch the old fashioned way for the moment...
