So did anyone notice that all HGSS event pokemon have hometown as HeartGold, or is it just me?

While cloning my RNG'd Pokemon and making back-ups in PokeSav, I noticed that -all- of my SoulSilver Wi-Fi event pokemon such as Mew, Celebi, shiny beasts, and Jirachi had hometown as Gold, instead of Silver. Is this normal?

Ah thanks for the quick replies. So now, all I have to do is hit the delay, advance to the frame one less than the target, then fight lance? I've killed all roamers btw.

Currently trying to RNG a roamer Latios through Method 1. But I'm having problems finding a spread with the stats HP/DEF/SpD:31 and ATK/SATK/Spe: 30 for HP Power 70. Can anyone help? :\

Most likely human error. You cannot get the timing exactly everytime, I mean EXACTLY. So just keep trying, you'll hit that middle spot eventually.

Is it possible to get a perfect IV spread with Jolly nature...on a wondercard Jirachi...? I've read somewhere that the Jolly Nature worked different...or something, vague memory. I know that the nature is randomly generated when dealing with wondercard (or are they...dunno) or it is already preset.

Dunno what the problem was, but I noticed that during my calibration, my delays were even (and I had a Megaman GBA game in). So I tried using my Pokemon Ruby to get it to odd, thereafter my Elm calls matched and I've RNG'd my favorite pokemon with perfect IVs. Thanks to those that helped me!

Is it okay to skip soft-resetting right when the first timer of Pikatimer ends and start from the DS main menu instead? (Assuming that I've calibrated accordingly to each specific method.)

I adjusted the delays and second +- according to what you suggested, and I even check the odd/even box. I've a Megaman Battle Network game in slot 2 if it matters. And after those adjustments, I am unable to get any match elm calls at all as oppose to a few with my previous settings. Really lost...
