I find taunt to be substantially more useful than protect on Gliscor as it stops hazards and phasers completely so you just toxic them and spam sub. Having 2 scarfers on the same team just allows anything bulky to set up and sweep so I'd either change palkia to lustrous/ebelt/haban or terrakion...

I think physical > specially based is better for the scarf set. uturn/explosion/iron head/filler (flamethrower or ice beam) is pretty good since uturn will be doing decent damage at +1 (bit over 50% to 4hp kyogre iirc). Explosion and iron head can be useful for certain situations mid-lategame.

Focus blast is so shit I don't know why you'd even consider using it over fight judgement.

Problem with heracross is that he doesn't really do anything apart from countering darkrai. If your opponent doesn't have one then you're better off with any other scarfer.
