Aren't there better items than Wave Incense?

It keeps the priority at 0, not -7. It's just as if the pokemon's speed is put to 0 when it's holding it. So a Shadow Ball with Lagging Tail would come out before Roar or any other -Priority move.

The last 9 rated battles I was in, they disconnected at the end. In Free Mode, about 20% disconnect. So Free Mode is much better even though I like the idea of Rating Mode better.

I'm wondering about Alakazam. It's basically a Gengar with better stats, but a worse movepool. It's DW ability can be great with Life Orb too. Why is Alakazam down a tier? I thought it improved, even if there are some great new Pokemon this Gen' to replace, counter it etc.
