Oh thanks.... btw am I fucked?

Some dude created a game at 6:06pm TWO DAYS AGO

I decided to join along with three other people... I did not notice the time the game was created... so when I went to the shoutoutbox and typed something in... the time was 11:29pm

Needless to say I tried to exit, but leaving while ready is disabled.

So am I stuck there for however long it takes the OP to set-up?

I am also thinking that maybe the dude is some jackass who basically tricked 3 players into not being able to use their now trapped units...

The option to have an admin end the game is not there, so will an admin eventually see it and end the game, or will my account be stuck there for X amount of hours/days/etc...
 
A few newbie FAQs!

Why can't I open this chest?
Because people have been chest abusing, the administrator (Marcia's Bitch) changed something. What exactly he did is unknown, but don't listen to Dak because his theory is flawed. Also tip: higher leveled units get more out of one chest. From I believe L5 on, they go into a new "chest tier", with 101-200G instead of 1-100G range, and Steel instead of Iron.

What weapons should I use?
If you're new, you could just play other new people and agree to use bronze. Those have infinite uses. As you progress, you will want to use Iron (and the E level spells), as those are significantly more powerful, in trade for less accuracy and having only 40 use. Keep the bronze weapons in your inventory for when you don't need their power, but rather their accuracy (like when you need to finish off a weak enemy).

After 31 uses of a weapon, your weapon level will increase to D, and you will be able to use Steel, and in some cases some other weapons as well. If you don't make too many characters, those should be affordable.

How do I heal/attack/help i dont get it
Click on the character. Select movement (press z), move near where you want to go, select the action (you can use s for staves and a for attack), then click on the unit you want to use it on. Now scroll down, and you will see an overview. The consequences of doing what you would do with each possible weapon/stave have been laid out. Click on the weapon/staff you want to use to do so.

What class should my lord be?
I'd recommend a normal fighting unit like some kind of Mage, Wyvern, Soldier, etcetera. Those are capable of using their raw stat edge on both phases, rather than just one phase (Archer, Cleric, etc).

What happens when I lose?
Nothing negative, besides a loss on your record. You get gold, but not as much as the winner. You keep the chest you got. You keep all EXP. Your characters will not be dead for good.
 
TBH the classes seem very well-balanced for the most part. We have a "tank" mage for every school of magic (Templar, Adept, Dark Knight), plus the traditional "cloth armor" mages (Monk, Mage, Shaman). Similarly for the weapons. There's two types of Pegasi and Wyverns, there's mounted units of each weapon type, we have a Berserker/Sm-class Lance unit... Plus, all the weapons are standardized and there are 1-2 range options for both Bows and Swords now. You really can't go wrong with any class as long as your team as a whole is balanced.

Just added an adept to my squad, and wow they are overpowered...

If you lack a mage they will rape you so hard.

I can't wait to try out some other units. I have been thinking of using some other types of mages that dont use Anima spells...
 
I need to battle soon so I can buy a new unit... Possibly another bulky mage.

All my guys are level 2 now, and my Knight, and Lord are level 4.

Wishing I had made my Lord an adept... they seem so good

Sure. My party actually ranges from level 1-4, but I'll keep it to 2 and below, if that's okay with you? If so, go ahead and create a map (I'm Fishin).
