Challenge The Scramble Challange

@Sprocket: A Chansey named "fat Hannah" It must have 4 attacking moves and it must solo Blaine to evolve into Blissey
I never tried, but can you cancel evolution if Pokemon evolve by happiness?

Dur...an Everstone would do it.

@Sprocket, take a Haunter, name it SlutMuffin. If you don't want it to be named SlutMuffin, it must be named after you. It must know Lick and Taunt at all times, and can only evolve after it soloes a total of 6 gym leader Pokemon.

If you need another HM, I'll change it.

B Button does it too.

If you need another HM, I'll change it.
Come to think of it, Strength isn't even needed in Kanto unless I'm going through Seafoam Islands (everything past the Gym is optional as far as the story goes) or I'm going thru the Rock Tunnel to the Power Plant (instead of Routes 9 and 10). Waterfall is only needed if I'm going after Moltres in Mt. Silver.

So really the only usable HMs in Kanto are Cut, Surf, and Rock Climb. And to get to Red I only need Rock Climb.

also since this is probably the only place this could go, would anyone like to suggest a pokemon for me to do a solo run of platinum (one poke the whole way :D)? i'll just AR a lvl 1 base form of the pokemon you choose at the beginning. As long as it isnt legendary and won't be absurdly hard to use (things with a BST of less than 430 and things that are hard to raise like blissey), fire away.

first suggestion:
Grab yourself a Beldum call it Steel Easy. Can never hold Shuca or Occa Berry. Once it gets to Metagross, you should do fine until Flint. Also, you must either defeat in battle, or capture with any ball other than a Master Ball, Giratina in the Distortion World. TreadshotA1

second suggestion:
togepi with Hustle, cant learn airslash. Sprocket

i'm sort of leaning toward the togepi, since psuedo legends are SUPER OPed in solo runs (did one with flygon with dragon claw/EQ/thunderpunch/firepunch and it destroyed everything, dont really want to know what a metagross could do). i'm probably going to just take a regular beldum if i do take metagross, since it evolves at 20 so it isnt too bad, maybe some grinding before roark though.

i'll take a third suggestion before i choose one to do a solo run with.

@treadshot
that makuhita challenge seems impossible, just saying :P i would think pachirisu goes before the ground fainting in electric gym, since LT. surge and watson both have pokemon with sonic boom in your first encounter with them, and Volkner has octillery/ambipom/E-vire with icepunch. as long as you dont attack you die xD

You did ask for a brutal challenge, Paradox808. So Makuhita seems perfect. Would need a load of grinding, though.

And yes about it being easy to faint in an electric gym. But when you take into account that it has to faint in EVERY gym and EVERY E4 member, that's not hard, that's basically saying, beat them with 5 pokemon only, while letting your opponent set up.

If you want a hard one Paradox808, beat the game with a Ninjask. The only requirement is that it can't be a SashJask variant, and it must have Baton Pass. What that basically means is that if you choose to have SD or NP, you only get 2 offensive moves, and if you add protect, only one. Without Sash, it's also much harder to boost stats. Without Protect, even harder. Name it Roadkill.

Oh, and BTW, i'll be starting another Scramble after this one is done (I'm on my way to Victory Road now, beat Sunyshore Gym thanks to Lorak), although probably not as fast as i'll be back to school soon, so time's a bit...um, valuable, and hence, i'll get the pokemon now while i'm at it.

Since i can't spend too much time, i want a super easy Diamond run, with these conditions:

A) No Pachirisu's with only electric attacks (Duh, otherwise Paradox would make me go through with a team of six of these)
B) I can get any pokemon in the 493, any (I will pokesav, but i'll trade over from another game six legit UT pokes, and whatever their IV's are, will be what my pokemon will have, i.e. random IV's, so no 31's in everything). I'm not gonna cheat, obviously. Well, maybe just a little. haha
C) 1 Pseudo-Legendary, that's not Garchomp (never trained up the others before, would be fun. Flygon i'll add to this list, since paradox says it's easy).
D) Nothing that's available early Sinnoh. That means no Bidoofs or Starly's, etc.. Anything at Vallley Windworks or later is NOT early Sinnoh, and therefore okay.
E) I'll keep my Sinnoh Starter, whichever that may be.
F) No Girafarigs or something that i've given out to someone else. I am fully aware of loopholes in the ones i give out that can and will be exploited.

Fire Away!

@ Treadshot A1: You must use Sudowoodo, and it must solo Gardenia, Maylene, or Wake (your choice) without super effective moves.

well flygon is easy in solo runs since it has amazing STABs and moveset, and the fact that in solo runs things get overleveled so fast its crazy (level 78 at 7th gym, the only gym that could have killed flygon with crazy ice stabs, was awesome :D)

so for your psuedo legend, get your knight in shining armor, dragonite :P

name your dratini KLUTZ. you must have this pokemon by the time you get to theeterna forest, and it must be in your party at all times after that. as long as it is in your party you may NOT buy any items from the pokemart (yayyy nuzlocke :P. better stock up before then). evolve dratini if it knows t-wave, and evolve dragonair if it knows both t-wave and outrage. KLUTZ has to keep both moves.

EDIT: i never asked for the makuhita, i was just commenting on your "favorite" poke to give out xD

AND WE PASSED THE NUZLOCKE THREAD IN POSTS. yay

Now KLUTZ will be annoying, but that's not too hard. Do you mind if i use Dragon's Den Dratini? As in, the one with E.Speed?

So far:
____, the Sudowoodo (solo Gardenia)
KLUTZ, the Dratini (T.Wave for 'Air, Outrage for 'Nite)

BTW, i'll start the game with all six, since i can get anything at any time, so saying 'before Eterna Forest' is redundant, i'll have six by Lake Verity.

Also, paradox, you say that as long as Klutz is in my party, i CAN buy items, and then you say to stock up before then. That doesn't make any sense.

oops, left out a very important word in that post :P see the rather obvious edit, and since you're starting with it, no buying anything as soon as you meet up with cheryl.

Treadshot A1, take a Qwilfish. Name it Bloat, after the blowfish from Finding Nemo. Therefore, it has to be male. Its moveset has to be Waterfall, Pin Missile, Revenge, and Stockpile. You can only use it in the Elite 4 if it solos Byron.

And i hate whoever it was that made me catch a Chimecho.
Haha you're welcome.

Remember when i said i always had a loophole built into every challenge i made? Well, i have a knack for spotting ones as well.

You never specified when it had to have that Moveset, Senfroz. So i'll just learn/relearn those moves after Byron, arming it with an anti-Steel set first. haha

Also, do any of those moves have anything to do with Stockpile? Aside from Def/Sp.Def raising, i thought only Swallow/Spit Up needed Stockpile.

Damn i'm starting to regret giving Paradox a chance to change his post. Me and my big mouth... (goes and hacks 999 all items, haha)

So far:
____, the Sudowoodo (solo Gardenia)
KLUTZ, the Dratini (T.Wave for 'Air, Outrage for 'Nite)
Bloat, the Quilfish (Waterfall, Pin Missile, Revenge, Stockpile, must solo Byron or can't be used in E4)

Treadshot, take a Voltorb. It must solo Roark without using Sonic Boom before evolving. It may also not have a hidden power of any type that is super effective against any of Roark's Pokemon. After evolving it may only ever use and know electric moves, no matter how many it can actually learn.

^I said easy, people. Not bloody ridiculous "I can't give Pachirisus so a Voltorb will have to do" challenges. j/k

Anyways, i need a name for Voltorb and the Sudowoodo.

So far:
____, the Sudowoodo (solo Gardenia)
KLUTZ, the Dratini (T.Wave for 'Air, Outrage for 'Nite)
Bloat, the Quilfish (Waterfall, Pin Missile, Revenge, Stockpile, must solo Byron or can't be used in E4)
____, the Voltorb (Solos Roark without Sonic Boom or Super Effective HP, then only electric moves)

Since it may evolve prior to Canalave, i'll have to delete the moves by pokesav...

@Treadshot: A Carnivine named "Chargin' ." It may never be the lowest levelled member of your team. It may not have more than one move of any type.

@Treadshot, take Chimchar. After you beat Gardenia it cannot be more than one level higher than the second-highest levelled Poke on your team. It must maintain Ember while it solos Jupiter to evolve into Monferno, and maintain the move while it solos Saturn to evolve into Infernape.

Okay, so Chargin' the Carnivine and ____ the Chimchar. Fine. I think i'll not bother with evolving Chim, instead just soloing Roark and Gardenia, making sure Chargin's not the lowest level, and then solo with KLUTZ. Much Easier. ;)

C'mon guys, i need a name for a Sudowoodo, a Chimchar and a Voltorb. I have enough fire starters called Blaze/Flame/Flare/etc. I need good names. Pachirisu is not a good name. haha

____, the Chimchar (Must have ember, solo Jupiter to be Monferno, solo Saturn to be Infernape)
Chargin', the Carnivine (never lowest level, not allowed more than one move per type)

I'll start once i'm done with my current challenge. I'm probably gonna catch a Starly as well, and box it. It'll be my Fly-er, but won't be used. I highly doubt i'll backtrack, though, since some annoying user made sure i couldn't buy stuff...

E-speed dratini is fine. i'm gonna just go ahead and say buying TMs are fine from veilstone, buying repels, and buying a max of 10 items from the poke league.

dont just solo everything with klutz, your other pokes need some love too xD.

Team Scramble Kanto is set. Thanks guys! Once I finish my Nuzlocke, we'll see how it goes. Adding one last rule, which I bolded, and cleaning up the wording (in case anyone else wants to try it). Shouldn't make any difference though.

SoulSilver Kanto Scramble Challenge:

* Standard Scramble Rules apply
* Only trades allowed are to/from HeartGold.
* Gameplay will begin as if you just beat the Elite 4 for the first time, before boarding the S.S. Aqua and receiving the National Pokedex.
* The Pokemon picked for the challenge board S.S. Aqua with you, unless indicated otherwise.
* Pokemon board S.S. Aqua knowing only level-up moves, unless indicated otherwise. HM moves are not taught until disembarking from S.S. Aqua.
* All Pokemon begin at level 45, maximum level 70 before beating Red. After beating Red, level cap is removed.
* Only Pokemon in the Johto Regional Pokedex are allowed.
* Team must be able to use Cut, Surf, and Rock Climb. Strength and Waterfall are optional. Fly, Whirlpool, and Rock Smash are forbidden.
* Access to Johto is only allowed once all 8 Kanto badges are earned, unless absolutely necessary (specific movesets, for example)

Challenge is won when Elite 4 Version 2 + Red are both defeated.
Party:

1. (Treadshot A1) Nidoqueen. Cannot have Earthquake, and it must faint in the Vermillion Gym Battle. Must Box in PC before fighting Red. (valid HMs: Cut, Surf)
2. (Paradox808) Lickitung. Name it Fearless. Must be Brave nature. Evolve it to Lickilicky if it KOs (the wild) snorlax using successive rollouts. Before you fight Blue get Lickilicky's moveset to be exactly like the mixed wallbreaker moveset in the analysis. (valid HMs: None)
3. (Trebs) Lanturn. Can only know 2 attacking moves at one time (valid HMs: Surf)
4. (Vratix) Chansey. Nickname it fat Hannah. It must have 4 attacking moves and it must solo Blaine to evolve into Blissey. (valid HMs: Rock Climb)
5. (Chateau) Haunter. Nickname it SlutMuffin, or nickname it after yourself. It must know Lick and Taunt at all times, and can only evolve after it soloes a total of 6 gym leader pokemon. (valid HMs: None)
6. (Dummy007) Clefable. Nickname it I. Must have Cute Charm and know Metronome. Must hold Toxic Orb. (valid HMs: None)

@Treadshot A1, name Sudowoodo Joey.

@Dummy007, Toxic Orb won't be a problem to get for me, but damn is that harsh.

Hey, my brother wants to do a run on HG (which means I gotta wait for mine :(), he said to not give him hard things as this is his first go through, so preferably stuff like "Pokemon X must know moves Y and Z"
Btw, his name is David.
