[MATCH OVER] 3v3 - LupusAter vs Cartoons!

Alright Lunchbox, nothing scary here, just stay cool.

Start off with a Supersonic and hope for the best. Now Ice Beam him and finish off with an Air Slash. You might get hurt in the process, but it'll best to push our life lead.

Round 10, Nidhogg and his Lunchbox

Camel meat's pretty delicious, huh? Oh, sorry, where were we? I'd rather have a Lunchbox filled with sammies anyway!

So here we have an excellent, elegant Lunchbox vs a weakened Nidhogg. Lunchbox starts off with an eerie sound wave of Supersonic. It wiggles a little toward the awaiting Nidhogg, but somehow, the sound just couldn't reach him! Maybe it missed? Or maybe it just wasn't strong enough. Either way, Nidhogg doesn't really seem to care as he just Glares down at Lunchbox and threatens her - GIVE ME THE WIN! It was soo threatening that our little lady Lunchbox became paralyzed!

Threatened from the threat, Lunchbox ponders if she should actually do so. After some deep thought, she decides... NOPE, and fires off a crispy Ice Beam that covers Nidhogg's bottom area into a block of ice. It appears that it was Nidhogg's plan all along to get attacked first so that he can fire off a reflective Mirror Coat! The damage is reflected back at a deadly level and blasts Lunchbox throughout the back arena, but at least she didn't slam into any wall!

Feeling good about that last attack, Nidhogg goes on the offensive and summons a Leaf Tornado that blows from his wavy tail, whose momentum breaks the ice covers into watery parts, and blows all the debris and rocks around and around... eventually collecting Lunchbox into the huge mess! Bits and pieces of rocks smash upon Lunchbox and partially clip her wings into oblivion. After the tornado subsides, Lunchbox droops onto the ground and right on the debris, as flat as a Stunfisk. After all she went through, Lunchbox decides it's time to fling an Air Slash for payback, but instead, she shivers in full paralysis! This isn't looking too good!

I really don't think the Unown wanted any of that and backed away! That was certainly very dangerous!

Round 11, Slaughterhouse

Cool, calm, and collected, Nidhogg takes advantage of his new Speed advantage to spout of some Leech Seeds from his mouth upon the crippled bird, Lunchbox. Plop Plop Plop! They immediately suck the life out of her! But she's definitely not going down without a fight... or flight! She hops upward and glides toward the air for a Wing Attack smack on Nidhogg! He's bumped to his side onto some ruins and dust smokes become apparent.

He's alright though, as he uses his strength to get up from the ruins. I think he's mad! Really mad. He goes out of control and Taunts right at the Lunchbox about how foolish it is to be facing him. Lunchbox could only wiggle from the threat... but was it actually from the Taunt? She's wiggling in full paralysis!

Greedy for even more HP to be absorbed from Lunchbox's delicious veins, Nidhogg advances a bit to Mega Drain the life out of Lunchbox! At the very least, Lunchbox's superior Special Defense was able to repel a good portion of the weak attack. She then takes flight once more and takes and aerial dive for a Wing Attack! There goes Nidhogg, shuffling through the ground from the air attack, but he's still ready for more!

Nidhogg, start by Chilling a bit. Then another Mega Drain. End with a Slam. If she uses any special attacks, Mirror Coat them back, but if you must do so as a first action, Chill instead of using Leaf Tornado

I'm assuming that Leaf Tornado = Mega Drain?

Round 12, The Last Struggle

In the brink of destruction, Nidhogg takes it easy on a piece of debris and chills for a bit, letting his guard down. And what does that mean? A flying Lunchbox! She swoops by and slaps the leaf snake with a Wing Attack stroke, knocking him off the debris and onto the ground. The wing was as strong as a minotaur, so much that it went critical! But he's still got more ooph!

Anticipating a special attack, Nidhogg lets himself become vulnerable for a bit so that he can unleash his secret weapon. Lunchbox... doesn't appear to take note of his odd posture and slashes the air for a sounding wave! It strikes little Nidhogg diagonally across his body, but he endures the pain for a moment and fires back with a disastrous Mirror Coat! The damage was bounced back at a painful amount toward Lunchbox, but she's clinging to life somehow!

Now I'm sure Nidhogg would just finish the job right here, but... he's waiting patiently again, though he's beat. Uh-oh... Nidhogg, ATTACK! But he isn't... and there's Lunchbox, ready to put the final nail in the coffin for Nidhogg. A finale Air Slash! With all her strength, she lets out an incredible slash of wind and air that rumbles the grounds and pushes all the debris and rocks out of the way right toward Nidhogg, who just thought he could take one more attack for a Mirror Coat... but... he couldn't. And there, he falls, onto the ruins of the Unown, on this final hour...

The Unown could only hover away and seek out a new place to live. This place was just too dangerous...

lmao, I've redid the scenarios a billion times (and I honestly thought Lupus won), and I've noticed... it was the fault in Lupus's instructions to Nidhogg that caused him to lose. If he said "mirror coat once" he would have won. But he said, "mirror coat any special attacks" and the negative priority of the final mirror coat costed him. Luckily no paralysis went into effect too for Lunchbox! And if you wanted to know, the critical wasn't needed. Nice game guys!

OH, and thanks for posting orders so fast!

Prizes!

KO Counters: Lunchbox (1), Nidhogg (1), Erupto (1), Fenris (1), Passpartou (1) (SORRY FAFNIR!)
1 EC, MC, and DC: Fafnir, Passpartou, Fenris, Erupto, Nidhogg, Lunchbox
2 Trainer Counters: LupusAter, Cartoons!
3 Ref Tokens: Flora

And I think that about sums this match up! Thanks for playing!

Now feed, Lunchbox. FEED.

Good game, Lupus, I thought I had the advantage until your Snivy really turned things around. This was super close, and probably one of my funnest matches.

And thanks for reffing, Flora, you're really fast, and posting the calcs is really convenient for us players. I was taking a gamble on that last match, hoping to sidestep the paralysis in order to take advantage of Mirror Coat's negative priority to get one extra hit in. Any number of things could have gone wrong, so I'm glad that worked out.

Great match! I actually used Mirror Coat to avoid you using too many special attacks... I believed he would survive two, though. Guess that'll teach me to be more accurate in my guesses.
And thank you very much for the reffing, Flora! Fast and enjoying, and you really brought the arena to life!

Sorry, noob here. How many TC do I get?

Oh wow, I thought I edited that, but Slowgon deleted my edit. <_<

The standard has always been a consistent 2 Trainer Counters per battle. That's enough for anyone to get 1 Pokemon.
