[DOGFISH WINS!] Dogfish44 vs mewtwo15026

I checked with wyvv, she says it's damage dealt. Sorry Dogfish, we should get this fixed in the next sotg. anyways, fixed round below (yes, its a KO):

Boltair the Emonga, true to its nickname, starts off the round with a blast of air shot towards the Embirch, which Balsamus manages to take without flinching. Staggering from the force of the blow, he manages to close off the distance between the two, and implants seeds to steal nutrients from the electric flying squirrel's body.

However Boltair doesn't seem to give a damn about the seeds, and lunges towards the Emonga with a spin to maximize the blow. Balsamus simply stands still as the attack hits him, still as rock. And then...BAMBAMBAM! The Embirch releases a furious barrage of hits, having absorbed the attack and pushed back with almost double the force! If this were a gag manga, Emonga would have swirls for eyes and be covered with band-aids!

But the Emonga's not yet finished! Despite the massive hurt he's just endured, Boltair is able to focus long enough to shot off another powerful gust, which rips through the Embirch and sends him to the ground! Unfortunately for mewtwo15026, he doesn't get up this time! He's down and out!

mewtwo15026, Pokemon and actions please.

I'd send out Vladdy teh Mudkipz. But I'm vouching to have him turn into Vladdy teh Marshtompz. Not that it really matters; Boltair's on its way out anyway, but what ruling would there be on this?

Sorry, the Pokemon used in the battle are the exact ones sent in to the ref. This also includes moves, if you use MCs in the middle of the battle, they are not applied.

OK then!

Thunderbolt, make it travel straight down that Water gun as a conducter and into it's internal organs!

Then Toxic, then Thunderbolt once more, using the same Water Gun conducter technique.

Good Job Boltair, you'll be resting after this round (Forcibly Recall Boltair if it somehow survives, inherently KOing it).

Sorry for delay. I'm probably setting a record here x.x

mewtwo15026, suffering from the recent loss of his Embirch, tosses out another Pokeball mournfully. It hits the ground and out pops muuuud-kiiip! mudkip! muuudkip! mudkiiiip! Taking advantage of its inherent annoyances, it shoots out a ball of water, aiming to take out the Emonga! Somehow, Dogfish44's Boltair doesn't seem to be affected by the chants and quickly responds with a bolt of electricity as the water ball is leaving Vladdy's body. This increases the shock, but the water ball continues forwards and drenches the target. Soaking, Boltair falls down to the ground and collapses.

Emonga: 1.5x power Thunderbolt, 27 damage
Mudkip: Water Gun, 6 damage, 3 energy

All right, Vladdy, time to show this dog who's boss!

Counter the Spark, then use Mud Sport to interfere with the Thunder Wave. Finish by Mirror Coating the Discharge!

NOTE: Changing my actions. See below.

Sorry, I typoes then forgot >_> (THough I'd begun with Spoink).

Speaking of, I'll go with GRUMPus, who sacs 20 EN to evolve straight into Grumpig.

Anyway, DynamicPunch, Thunder Wave, Zen Headbutt.

The battle continues with both trainers smarting at the loss of a Pokemon, dogfish44 most recently, but the only active pokemon is almost unharmed, having suffered only one blow. Dogfish44 tosses out another Pokeball which hits the ground, shooting out a bouncing pyschic-pig on a spring. However as it hits the ground, some dramatic music plays from the heavens, and he grows in all directions (including scaryness! That thing is intimidating!) However this sudden evolution seems to have weakened him.

The pig with a spring for a tail takes the opportunity and charges at the Mudkip, trailing his fist behind him. He arrives near the target, winds up with his momentum, throws a massive punch...and misses!!! The force of the incredible punch as it slams into the ground knocks many of the nearby trees down, and the building shakes as tremors spread. Vladdy seems to have planned on taking the hit, as he falls over. He was supposed to absorb the power of the hit and retaliate but instead managed to just overcompensate and trip!

Annoyed, the Grumpig forces energy into his jewels and shoots out a weak electrical charge, aiming to disable part of the foe's attacks. Just in time, however, Vladdy the Mudkip makes an annoying noise and wets the ground around him, split by GRUMPus's previous attack. Diving and rolling alongside this muddy concoction directly towards the electric attack coming at him, the pseudo-earth deflects and removes any damaging aspect the attack would have. Unscathed albeit muddy, true to his name, Mudkip stands strong.

As Vladdy revels in this return to his more earthy side, GRUMPus is frustrated by the fact that none of his mighty attacks have done...anything! His small feet somehow compensating for his massive body, he plods rapidly along the ground towards the most annoying Pokemon he has ever faced down. He lowers his head – it's glowing – it looks like the jewels are the source of the light, but it's spreading over his head – and BAM! Mudkip reels from the force of the physical blow..or seems to while instead he is preparing a true retaliation. With a "MUUUUDD---KIIIIIPPPPPP!" he slams his own head into the Grumpig's fat belly, bouncing both contestants backwards and stunning the pig.

Both Pokemon are about 4 feet apart from each other, near the trees. The ground is cracked and in some areas muddy.

All right Vladdy, use Counter for physical attacks or Mirror Coat for special ones. On your second action, Dig underground and attack!

Counter/Coat ~ Dig ~ Counter/Coat

Yeah, a large hole is opening up in your moves there.

Confuse Ray. Now then, let it tackle you with that dig and blast you into the air, so you can retaliate with a DynamicPunch as you come down for a lot of damage. Finish up with a Taunt.

Double Posting, but this is a notice that I will be gone for the next week (Bar getting on once or twice), and therefore may break deadline times.

Please don't DQ me - thanks.

No prob. As long as mewtwo15026 doesn't find that really offensive for some reason. Anyways!

The two trainers issue their commands to their respective Pokemon, and the battle continues! GUMPus is the first to take action, as he fires a beam of light from his forehead jewel which strikes the Mudkip directly between the eyes, making him go cross-eyed and confused. Vladdy takes it in stride but is unable to respond.

The Grumpig, happy with his successful attack, stands still as the confused foe Digs under the ground and burrows towards him. He takes a hit as Mudkip bursts out of the ground, but uses his fall to increase the power of his attack which pushes Vladdy completely back down into his hole. Oh wait, it's pushed him even further, creating a new hole! GRUMPus must have struck a critical blow there.

Extremely annoyed that he's losing this, the Mudkip tenses himself in preparation for an attack so that he can retaliate – but doesn't seem to be hit with anything at all, as his foe goads him by flexing his muscles and showing off his superior strength! This enrages Vladdy into only using attacks for the next two rounds or so.

GRUMPus: Confuse Ray, 5 energy; Crit Dynamic Punch, 8 energy, 20 damage; Taunt, 10 energy
Vladdy: Counter/Mirror Coat, 3 energy; Dig, 8 damage, 6 energy; Counter/Mirror Coat, 3 energy

We're back, and it looks like this may be one of the final rounds in this battle! Vladdy the Mudkip is on his last legs, and Dogfish44's GrumpUS the Grumpig isn't anywhere near the red zone. The action begins after both trainers issue their commands to their Pokemon - The jewels on the Grumpig's head light up as he sends out a Extrasensory, annoying Mudkip and the spectators. mewtwo15026's cunning plan becomes clear now however, as his Mudkip's Mirror Coat reflects back the attack with his own added power!

Grumpig sees his plan fall to pieces but has no choice but to carry out his orders. He rushes forwards, head lowered, and his jewels light up as he delivers a stunning Zen Headbutt to the foe Mudkip. But Mudkip was prepared and launches a Counterattack with the same if not more power!

One more attack, GrumpUS thinks to himself, as he shoots out another Extrasensory wave at Mudkip. Fortunately for him, it seems to have snapped something in the Mudkip's brain and shocked him into not responding! Grumpig wipes some sweat off his brow as Mudkip Fliches .

GrumpUS: Extrasensory, 9 damage, 6 energy; Zen Headbutt, 10 damage, 6 energy; Extrasensory, 9 damage, 6 energy
Vladdy: Mirror Coat, 15 damage, 11 energy; Counter, 15 damage, 11 energy; Flinch
