Great guide! I should be starting on my first breeding project in the next few days. A few questions before I begin:
1. Am I correct in understanding that instead of 3rd/4th gen's spreads such as A/B/B/31/31/31 (where A indicates that the IV comes from the parent that was deposited first, and B indicates that the IV comes from the parent that was deposited second), 5th gen uses F/M/M/31/31/31 (where F indicates that the IV comes from the female parent, and M indicates that the IV comes from the male parent)?
2. I see text such as "The chance this appears is 1%" and "aim for something in the 75-100 range for now." What do these mean? I don't believe this concept of percentages or reliability was explained, and I'm confused.
3. Assuming I want a fully-flawless baby, is it recommended that I RNG for fully flawless parents if possible (and do the method in post #2), or should I just breed with at least 3 flawless IVs across my 2 parents (and do the method in post #4)?
Thanks!
