BATTLE ON!

Arena:

Unown Alphabet Soup

The battlers are on a solid platform in the middle of a giant bowl filled with delicous broth. No move restrictions at all, because you can safely go seismetoad on the platform and there is plenty of broth to swampert your enemies with. In the soup, there is one of each letter unown floating in around aimlessly. They are all close enough to pick up, and a battler may use one action each round (they can't just use three unowns) to use any move that begins with that letter. Once an unown is used, it cannot be used again.

Normalize: (Can be deactivated) This Pokemon has mastered Normal-type attacks and can change any attack type to have a Normal energy signature. All attacks used by the Pokemon are considered Normal-type attacks, although they retain the same status-enducing and other properties. The Pokemon will do three (3) more damage with Normal-typed attacks.

It can still attack itself in confusion, but will not absorb any damage from it. Additionally, the energy protects the Pokemon from its own reckless recoil attacks.
Overcoat: (Innate) This Pokemon has a sturdy exterior that rebuffs the elements, making it immune to damage inflicted by bad weather.
Regenerator: (Innate) (DW) When this Pokemon is switched out during a switch battle, it reacts to the energy in the Pokeball and (ten) 10 HP is restored. When this Pokemon Chills, it restores six (6) HP in addition to its 12 Energy.

Type:

Electric: Electric STAB; 50% reduction in paralysis chance from other electrical attacks, perfect accuracy and 30% chance of Protect breaking Thunder during Rain. Superior senses in power plant environments.

Abilities:

Magnet Pull: (Can be Activated) This Pokemon has the ability to generate a magnetic field that can attract or repulse Steel-type Pokemon. When attracted by Magnet Pull, Steel-types cannot move out of the immediate proximity without great difficulty, and can be pulled along by the Magnet Pull Pokemon. When repulsed, the Steel type is thrust violently away and contact attacks have immense difficulty striking the Magnet Pull Pokemon. The effect of both commands lasts for the following three (3) actions. Steel types cannot switch out in a Switch=OK battle while a Pokemon with Magnet Pull is on the field without the use of Baton Pass, U-turn, or Volt Switch.
Sturdy: (Innate) This Pokemon’s body is solidly constructed, reducing the Base Attack Power from an opponents incoming attacks by one (1). The effect is amplified on OHKO Moves, which are reduced by ten (10) Base Attack Power.

LETS GET READY TO HEAD SMASH!!!!! GO RAGEQUIT!!

And to back him up will be Mr. Ionlyhaveahead, Locust the Seedot!

Let's get a defensive offensive combo started. Get them Greed and Ace!

Greed we shall need a good defense for this battle, so construct a Reflective wall to protect you two, while Ace grabs an Unown S and hits RAGEQUIT with a Spore. Greed you should then use your natural blobly Charm to weaken RAGEQUIT's assault, Ace should send a Heatwave at both enemies. To end it Ace shall Break Ragequit into Bricks and Greed will send an Ball of Energy at RAGEQUIT.

Greed ~ Reflect ~ Charm Ragequit ~ Energy Ball Ragequit

Ace ~ Unown Spore ~ Heatwave ~ Brick Break Ragequit

RAGEQUIT MAD AT SLEEPINESS. Well, you can at least try and hopelessly dodge it at the beggining. Then, if you manage to wake up, grab HEAD SMASH chimchar, and then continue to HEAD SMASH chimchar. If you were awake on action 2, then Rock Polish instead after your HEAD SMASH, so something dumb like that won't happen again.

Locust, they appear to be very mad at Ragequit, so this battle is up to you! (and stasis...). Start by grabbing an Unown T and Taunting Solosis. Then Leech Seed Chimchar, and Swords Dance for next round!

Ragequit: Dodge->HEAD SMASH Ace->HEAD SMASH Ace/Rock Polish if awake on action two

Locust: Taunt Greed with Unown T-> Leech Seed Ace->Swords Dance

--------------------

Well I can’t really tell you how or why but we’ve ended up with a Pokemon battle here over a bowl of delicious Unown Soup! The Unown will be supplying the Poke fighters with untold powers should they consume the little things, so let’s see how that turns out! Leethoof, on one side of the bowl, sends out Ragequit the Cranidos and Locust the Seedot to fight against LightWolf’s team of Greed the Solosis and Ace the Chimchar! Get to it, guys!

Ace begins the match by scooping up an Unown-S that gives it the unholy and unnatural power to use Spore on Ragequit, putting it into a deep sleep! Locust thinks that’s a pretty good strategy, as it pulls out an Unown-T that gives in enough brass to Taunt Greed and make it so mad it fails at erecting a Reflective wall for its team!

Ace, pleased with its snack, goes on the offensive with a Heat Wave that strikes both its opponents and makes the air a little sticky, but at least the soup won’t go cold! As Ragequit ragesleeps, Locust holds up its team with a Leech Seed on Ace while Greed once again tries and fails to use its move of choice, this time a Charm!

As Ragequit starts to wake up, Ace nails it with a Brick Break for good damage, but all it did was awaken the sleeping beast with enough time for it to come down hard on the poor monkey with an ENORMOUS Head Smash! That hurt both Pokemon quite a bit! Locust, glad that its teammate is finally awake, does a little Swords Dance while Greed hits Ragequit with an Energy Ball for good damage. What a high octane Round!

Aha Ragequit!! HEAD SMASH the monkey once more, and then pull out an Unown A for Aqua Jet!, because you will probably be dead by then. If you somehow survive to action three, then pull out another HEAD SMASH, this time on Greed.

Locust, help out out your buddy with using your somewhat spherical body to Rollout into Ace once, and then continue by either Rollouting a second time if Ace is still standing or using N for Night Slash against Greed. For action three, Swords Dance again.

Okay Ace, you did well till now but you are too low and we need to do something about that. Grab an Unown R and show them how to do a Reflect right. If you are still on your feet, time to distrupt their moves a bit, Fake Out on Ragequit will do just fine. If at this point you aren't down yet show them what Heat Wave can do, with a sure Blaze boost.

Greed sadly you are unable to support Ace right now, but that doesn't mean you are useless! Another Energy Ball should do a number to Ragequit. After that use Psyshock on Ragequit, should he be already defeated, then just hit Locust instead. End it with by unleashing your Hidden Power at Locust.

Ace ~ Unown Reflect ~ Fake Out Ragequit ~ Heat Wave

Greed ~ Energy Ball Ragequit ~ Psyshock Ragequit/if he is dead then Locust ~ Hidden Power Fire 7 Locust

Ace, very much a fan of the soup today, pulls up an Unown-R that allows him to spring up a Reflective barrier! Good thing, too, because right after doing so, Ace eats another gigantic Head Smash and a much less-gigantic Rollout from its opponents! It surely would have fainted without that screen there, so good call! The forgotten one, Greed, limps in at the end of the action with another Energy Ball that takes full advantage of the SpD drop from before and does just enough damage to KO Ragequit!

Ace doesn't seem to have noticed at all that Ragquit fainted because it tries to Fake it Out of attacking, but there's nothing there! That was a waste of time, huh! Locust, now on its own out there, does another Rollout for even more damage before eating a Psyshock from the infuriated Greed! Finally, and somewhat ironically, after all that punishment, after taking all those big nasty hits from big nasty opponents, Ace falls prey to Locust's Leech Seed and gets KO'd!

Now it's down to Locust and Greed, and the matchup is not a fair one! Locust bunkers down with another Swords Dance while Greed hits it with a big Hidden Power of some kind! Wow! Where is it keeping all that power in such a small body? In any case, time for reinforcements!

Leethoof releases Stasis the VOODOLL!

Sorry Ace, that was my mistake, but your sacrefice will not be wasted! Blitzkrieg get ready!

Greed you will honor Ace by using one of his attacks! Give me an F, F for Fake Out Stasis! Blitzkrieg we don't want no E hitting you so Rise up little Magnet. Next Greed twist things a little up with a big Room, should you be taunted fry Locust with your Hidden Power. Meanwhile Blitzkrieg you do something completely new, grab an Unown C and go for Clear Smog on Locust. Then finish it with a Flash Cannon and Shadow Ball aimed at Locust, or should he be defeated already then go for Stasis instead.

Greed ~ Unown Fake Out Stasis ~ Trick Room/Hidden Power Fire 7 Locust if unable to ~ Shadow Ball Locust/Stasis if Locust is down

Blitzkrieg ~ Magnet Rise ~ Unown Clear Smog Locust ~ Flash Cannon Locust/Stasis if Locust is down

Stasis...let's fight Fake Out with Fake Out. Since you are faster than that little blob of lime jello, grab the Unown F first and Fake Out Greed. Then, taunt it to prevent any sneaky trick rooms, and finish with a MACH PAUNCH at Magnemite.

Locust...you are kind of useless against Magnemite, so quickly grab an Unown B and use it as a Bonemerang to the floating ball of magnets (which is incredibly useful for constructing additional Bastiodons). Then, as you lose your swords dances, I want you to Leech Seed Blitzkrieg, and finish with an Explosion in their direction.

---------------------

Alright things are getting ridiculous in this bowl of soup (if that's even possible)! Stasis the Voodoll and Blitzkrieg the Magnemite appear from their Pokeballs to try and put an end to this match once and for all! Stasis explores the bowl of soup and finds an Unown-F, which allows it to Fake Out Greed and cause it to flinch! Blitzkreig is feeling a little nervous about Ground attacks coming its way so it performs a Magnet Rise to help it float off the ground. Too bad! Because Locust grabs an Unown-B and lobs a Bonemerang at Blitzkrieg that did only menial damage thanks to Blitzkrieg's reflective barrier!

Stasis then Taunts Greed while Blitzkrieg dips into the soup (even though it has no mouth with which to eat) and grabs an Unown-C, allowing it to use Clear Smog on Locust for some good damage! Locust fires back with a Leech Seed that drains Blitzkrieg of its health after Greed wallops Locust with another Hidden Power!

Stasis then jumps into the fray again with a Mach Punch on Blitzkrieg, but the little magnet has its sights set on Locust, hitting it with a Flash Cannon that very nearly knocks it out! Realizing the end is near, Locust gathers up all of its energy for a massive Explosion that probably did more harm than good, seeing as its opponents has that reflective barrier to hide behind... Anyway, with Locust out of the picture, it's now 2-on-1 with Stasis taking a quick Shadow Ball from Greed to end the Round!

Ummm...Stasis is a normal type. No shadow ball for him.

Anyways...lets begin with an Unown L for Light Screen to save yourself. Then proceed to Mimic Solosis's Hidden Power Fire 7 and retarget it at Blitzkrieg, and finish with another one of those.

Unown Light Screen->Mimic Hidden Power Fire 7 ->Hidden Power Fire 7 Blitzkrieg

Okay guys let's show him what the V and H in Unown can do. Greed grab that V, and do the Vacuum Wave! Blitzkrieg, it seems he wants you offed, and is setting up protection against our attacks, so let's try the other spectrum of attacking, show me how you can Jump High and Kick with your invisible legs of yours! Well now we got a little problem called Light Screen, with not much to do against it, we shall work around it somehow, don't worry. Now that you can move without the fear of being taunted Greed, go for Trick Room and follow it up with a Toxic, that should sting on the long run, it's not like your balls of energy would do much in this situation. Blitzkrieg I don't want you to paralyse him with Trick Room coming up, so go for a Flash Cannon, then lets make it easier for later with a Metal Sound, this way Greed can fight it out in the worst case.

It's Stasis vs. the world here in Unown Soup, and things aren't looking bright for the little doll as Greed pulls an Unown-V out of the soup and nails it hard with a Vacuum Wave! Stasis shakes it off and pulls out an Unown-L that allow it to set up a Light Screen! Hope it helps! Oh look, it doesn't, for Blitzkrieg pulls out yet another delicious Unown, this one being an Unown-H that springs it high up in the air for a Hi Jump Kick that crashes down on Stasis for even more enormous damage!

Stasis hangs in there enough to Mimic Greed's Hidden Power and turns the attack on Blitzkrieg! Blitzkrieg responds with a Flash Cannon, but it's not quite enough to knock it out! Greed then tries to do some fishy stuff with a Trick Room, but it's so infuriated by Stasis's earlier Taunt that the move fails!

Stasis laughs to itself only momentarily before hitting Blitzkrieg with another Hidden Power for good damage! Blitzkrieg then lets out a shrieking Metal Sound that greatly frightens Stasis before Greed tries and fails again to make a move, this one being a Toxic!

Wow, I must have been looking at the pre battle status and not the post battle one, sucks.

Well guys, there is not much left now, Blitzkrieg grab Unown E and use Extremspeed, while Greed grabs Unown M for Mach Punch. If he is still alive then just spam Energy Ball and Thunderbolt respectively.

Greed ~ Uuown Mach Punch ~ Energy Ball ~ Energy Ball

Blitzkrieg Unown Extreemspeed ~ Thunderbolt ~ Thunderbolt

Unown P for Protect into a Hidden Power Fire at Magnemite, then Faint

We're screwed, Stasis!

GG Lightwolf, this was an extremely fun arena and I hope you spread it around. Thanks for being a good opponent, and thanks Korski for good reffing (other than hitting a normal type with shadow ball XD)

Yeah, yeah, yeah...

-------------------

As stasis comes to realize the end is near, it quickly grabs an Unown-P and uses it to Protect itself from an onslaught of Extremespeed and Mach Punch from Blitzkrieg and Greed! There's nowhere to run, though, and nowhere to hide, unfortunately, for the little evil doll, as it can't keep up that strategy forever and falls to Blitzkrieg's Thunderbolt after desperately failing to KO with one final Hidden Power! Well, everyone looks pretty full now, and the soup has gotten cold, so I say we call it a day. In any case, that was a thoroughly entertaining and interesting battle, so great job, guys! At the end of the day, though, LightWolf WINS!
