Status
Not open for further replies.
6 v 6 Street Brawl, meaning 2 trainers (I'd have put 6 v 6 v 6 or more for a 3 player + Brawl).

Also... new match!

3 v 3 Triples

I'll take that battle Dogfish. Incoming rock-types, FE I assume?.

Mr.L: Welcome to the ASB Tournament Arena!!!!!! I'm Mr.L, ASB Expert-in-the-Making, and I will be your referee for this match. I have with me Dexter, my Elgyem, to help out with the commentating. How are you today, Dexter?

Dexter: Shh...calculating the odds for each competitor. My predictions page has 11 followers, I MUST NOT FAIL THEM!

Mr.L: Okay then...well, today's match is held in this lovely foundation, the ASB Tournament arena. I don't think i have to explain myself, I hope... Dexter, how about you tell the viewers the teams (you've examined them to death).

Dexter: Of course.

In the Blue Corner, we have Dogfish44 with his legion of unevolved pokemon ready to prosper from this match.

Tynamo [Murena] (F)
Nature: Quiet (+1 SpA, -15% Speed, -10% Evasion)
Type:
Electric: Electric STAB; 50% reduction in paralysis chance from other electrical attacks, perfect accuracy and 30% chance of Protect breaking Thunder during Rain. Superior senses in power plant environments.

Abilities:
Levitate (Trait): This Pokemon naturally floats above the earth when released or easily takes flight, evading the Ground moves Bulldoze, Earthquake, Fissure, and Magnitude. Earth Power will have three (3) less Base Attack Power. Dig and Dive can strike a Levitating Pokemon if their user is over Size Class 4, has Levitate, is 3.5m or larger, or is a flying type. Otherwise Dig and Dive will miss. Ground moves can still hit. Levitate Pokemon will retain the Levitate trait when they use Skill Swap on an enemy, and will steal the opponent's ability (the user can specify if they want a foe or ally to gain Levitate from a Skill Swap.) If a Pokemon with Levitate uses Role Play, they will copy the opponent's abilities and retain Levitate.

Type:
Electric/Water: Electric STAB; 50% reduction in paralysis chance from other electrical attacks, perfect accuracy and 30% chance of Protect breaking Thunder during Rain. Superior senses in power plant environments.

Abilities:
Trace (Can be Activated): This Pokemon can copy an ability of the opponent and replace Trace for six (6) actions. Wonder Guard cannot be Traced.
Magic Guard (Innate): This Pokemon is infused with a powerful psycho-electric energy that makes it immune to damage from Hail, Sandstorm, and damage from Leech Seed, Poisoning, and Burn. It can still attack itself in confusion, but will not absorb any damage from it.
Shed Skin (DW) (Innate): This Pokemon regularly sheds its skin and any impurities contained in its body. If afflicted with a status condition, this Pokemon has a 33% chance of removing all status conditions at the end of a round.

Magnemite [Paul] (N/A)
Nature: Sassy (+1 SpD, -15% Speed, -10% Evasion)
Type:
Electric/Steel: Electric STAB; 50% reduction in paralysis chance from other electrical attacks, perfect accuracy and 30% chance of Protect breaking Thunder during Rain. Superior senses in power plant environments. Steel STAB; Immune to Sandstorm, highly insusceptible to toxic attacks, but can be corroded specifically by Acid and Acid Spray, can be magnetized. Superior senses in high-metal environments like construction sites or factories.

Abilities:
Magnet Pull (Can Be Activated): This Pokemon has the ability to generate a magnetic field that can attract or repulse Steel-type Pokemon. When attracted by Magnet Pull, Steel-types cannot move out of the immediate proximity without great difficulty, and can be pulled along by the Magnet Pull Pokemon. When repulsed, the Steel type is thrust violently away and contact attacks have immense difficulty striking the Magnet Pull Pokemon. The effect of both commands lasts for the following three (3) actions. Steel types cannot switch out in a Switch=OK battle while a Pokemon with Magnet Pull is on the field without the use of Baton Pass, U-turn, or Volt Switch.
Sturdy (Innate): This Pokemon’s body is solidly constructed, reducing the Base Attack Power from an opponents incoming attacks by one (1). The effect is amplified on OHKO Moves, which are reduced by ten (10) Base Attack Power.
Analytic (DW) (Innate): If this Pokemon attacks after its target during an action, its attacks have two (2) more Base Attack Power.

Dexter: Obviously, Leethoof is the better opponent in this match-up. He's going to win for sure!

Mr.L: But if Dogfish is using this opportunity to better his weaker pokemon, won't he be winning...he's getting exactly what he wants.

Dexter: ...I despise your logicless logic.

Mr.L: Anywho, here's the turn orders:

1337#00f Starts off strong
Puppyfish retaliates
I commentate the madness
Bowserfish makes his comeback
Izt001337 says lolno
I continue to decipher my own text and ref

Leethoof, What do?

I send out Vanguard on my left, Ra in the middle, and Aegis on the right! Although I would prefer it if positioning was ignored.

Aegis, begin with a Taunt on Magnemite, and then Protect yourself from vanguard's madness!

Vanguard, Smack Down Magnemite, and then shake things up with an Earthquake.

Ra, your maiden voyage begins with a Trick Room to help your buddies even if it hurts you, and then Solarbeam Pilcowatt.

Ditto on Positioning.

Tynamo: Thunder Wave Vanguard ~ Thunder Wave Aegis
Pilcowatt: Signal Beam Ra ~ Mirror Coat Ra
Magnemite: Flash Cannon Ra ~ Flash Cannon Ra

Don't blink, this action's so intense ANYTHING could happen! The match starts off with Plicowatt firing off a multi-colored beam at Ra, who appears to be murmering about twisted dimensions...we'll come back to it later. Tynamo, with his limited movepool, starts off on support by paralyzing Vanguard with a weak jolt of electricity, but he seems to not be bothered by it much. Magnemite, unlike Tynamo and more in kin with Plicowatt, takes a more offensive stand by blasting piering light at Ra, who's still powering up an intense attack. Aegis decides to foil any attempts to ruin his older sibling's upcoming attack by Taunting it, enraging the coil oh so very much. Vanguard apparently didn't get the memo, and started perventing magnemite from gearing up by launching a gravity-imbued rock at Magnemite, dragging it to the ground! That iwll make it vulnerable to gou-owait, Ra's finally doing something. That Room appears Trick used being It is.

Bandit: For all the anagram-haters out there, humans have trouble speaking in Trick Room, which Ra used. Therefore, I'll be commentating the rest of the match.

Mr.L: The Fuck What?

Bandit: Meh, with the dimensions now distorted, Vanguard goes for some seismic disruption with Earthquake. Aegis manages to whip up a Protect just in time, but the defensive tactic is sure to take it's toll on his energy. Despite major damage, Magnemite fires off another flash Cannon at Ra, who is now "slower" than all the pokemon bar Plicowatt. Tynamo attempts to launch a thunder wave at Aegis, but his Protect is universal- Thunder Wave failed to penetrate the well-built protection. Ra tries to bide it's time with Solarbeam as Plicowatt starts preparing a Mirror Coat, but the solar energy was just too great and Ra unleashes it towards Plicowatt. Taking the hit, Plicowatt forms the energy into energy and launches it back at Ra, dealing major Damage.

With Vanguard Paralyzed and Ra about a pile of Rubble, will Leethoof be beaten by a bunch of electykes?

Elgyem: NO!!! MY PREDICTIONS WILL BE WRONG!
Bandit: Umm....what will happen next? Only the trainers know what we are in store for...
