Double Team and Minimize:Broken or Uncompetitive?

Ways that noobs can win wit little to no skill already exists, it's called weather.
aaaaand you just invalidated the rest of your post.

Regardless, Double Team IS a bad strategy. However, we shouldn't be unbanning it. There isn't any reason to introduce more luck into the metagame.

Also Haxrachi is completely different from double team. Jirachi has to spam Iron Head to flinch at all. Pokemon with Double Team can do other things that are much more useful rather than a weak Steel-type move while their opponent is missing at the same time.

Please, people, stop citing Jirachi. It's a terrible argument.

Jirachi with Iron Head and Body Slam/Thunder Wave is basically the same argument as double team.

It uses a "strategy" that completely relies on a roll of the dice to prevent the opponent from landing a hit.

If everyone REALLY thinks that that makes a fun and competitive game, then I am at a complete loss.
Nah, easy wins never make the game fun.

I think we may finally be beginning to sway this guy to the dark side. Give him his cookie.

I never used Jirachi as an example, but I got their point, and your point, because they are the same point. One turn of Jirachi using Iron Head...

...a weak Steel-type move...

...that can flinch 60% of the time...and a turn using Double Team (and the DT user doing no damage at all) while the non-DT user can do whatever they feel like doing, but missing 60% of the time after the second Double Team.

Same arguement both ways, HaxRachi or DT.

I'm just going to close this now -- it's been going around in circles for a while now.
