EV training in D/P

The rest of us in my house can't get serebii to work, so we are kind of in the air on where is the best place to EV train.

And for those of you who didn't know. The poke virus lasts 1 day and a half or 2 days at max... So you can still get EV training done.

Please reply with any helpful info on places to EV train also with the amount given by the pokemon in the specified spot. Thanks

Bibarel are very common in most of the lake areas [Acuity and Valor iirc] and give 2 ATK EV's.

Bidoof also are VERY common near Twinleaf and other beginning areas, and they give 1 HP.

Those are some common ones, great for a physical sweeper.

*Power Items and Pokerus*

Power Items:
These items boost the number of EVs gained per battle with a pokemon in their respective stat.

Power Ankle: Boosts Speed EVs

Power Band: Boosts Special Defense Evs

Power Belt: Boosts Defense EVs

Power Bracer: Boosts Attack EVs

Power Lens: Boosts Special Attack EVs

Power Weight: Boosts HP EVs

Equation goes like this:

x + y = t

x = EV's from pokemon
y = EVs boosted from Power Items (+4)
t = Total EVs

Now with Pokerus we multiply the whole left side of the equation by 2 so...

2(x + y) = t

Now assume we have a pokemon that grants 2 points per battle...

2(2 + 4) = 12

wow...

theres a thread on the second page... it isn't getting bumped or anything. so you have to look for it.

Nice list there. Fight Area is also nice if you want speed AND attack (bannettes at night and machokes as well).

I do have a question about EVs and Exp. Share. If the Pokemon fighting is using Macho Bracer or one of the Power Bands, with the Exp. Share get the boosted EVs or just the standard amount?

Snowpoint Temple is nice for Speed if you want exp as well. ~level 50 Golbats for 2 speed evs and Sneasel for 1.

Woah woah. Power items give you 4 ADDITIONAL evs? Wow I thought they just gave you 4 no matter what. That's a huge step up from the Macho Brace. Ev training might not be so tedious anymore.

And for those of you who didn't know. The poke virus lasts 1 day and a half or 2 days at max... So you can still get EV training done.

I don't know if you know this, but the effects of Pokerus remain after the virus has gone away. The Pokerus itself doesn't disappear unless it gets to midnight in your game, so if you deposit your infected Pokemon during that time, it won't lose the contagious version and can still infect others.
