If you anticipate that you will have reduced activity for an inconsequential period of time, go ahead and post here. There is no need to tell us that you will be taking extended leave for three months while you complete your thesis, but if you are just gone for the weekend, do go ahead and let the whole fucking world know. This is more applicable to ladybug members and other staff who occasionally contribute without specific responsibility and less for those whose contributions are more relied upon to be there when they need to be.

DON'T BE SCARED TO POST IF YOU'RE NOT THE ONE LEAVING. Opinions on others' sabbaticals are welcome, encouraged even. No need to keep it private.

Also, feel free to leave your post here when you come back so that this thread becomes a cluttered piece of shit.

I have completely fucked up my computer somehow, and computer stores aren't open on weekends down here. Naturally, this means no internet. I can check some stuff on my phone, but I'm not going to type anything. Expect zero activity for at least a day.

i had to quit irc to do my math homework so if you need me i'll be back after i eat dinner until then let's all pray the ladder survives without a tiering contributor
 
So I've ran out of money and my grades are slipping, so I am now forced to whore myself out to older men and my professors so that I can eat and stay in school, so all of my available free time is going to be devoted to that. Plus, sex is far more exciting than anything Smogon can provide.
