Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Roman strikes one Delibird quickly, but that's not enough; it retaliates with a big bomb of seeds that quickly explodes, knocking Roman out. Staring at the Delibird in horror, you grab your Pokeballs and run...

As you continue in this frigid palace, you come upon a blocks of solid ice, within which you find two item containers. Elated at the find, you send out your Pokemon to examine it. You feel like maybe you have a tool on one of your Pokemon to break it or thaw the ice. Do you pursue this at the risk of being attacked by a wild Pokemon as you do so?
Player Options
a) Thaw / Break the ice! [Requires an attack SE against Ice; specify move and Pokemon]
b) Ignore the containers and move on
You have Slowking use Flamethrower on the ice, thawing it and revealing the item. You examine it and find that it is a
NeverMeltIce and a
Water Gem, much to your glee! As you pocket it, a slow rumble comes from just to your left; you and your Pokemon turn to it, and right before you is a Vanilluxe!
The Vanilluxe shifts the containers before you can react, blocking the way between Slowking and the rest of your Pokemon. Guess Slowking is on its own. The Vanilluxe sets up some rain, much to Slowking's delight, and it shifts its body, making it rather zippy.

Too bad you couldn't have killed Steelix instead of Emboar ;/
Mental Herb to Slowking (I think i still have one), Exp. Share to Vannilluxe, if I have another Mental Herb still that goes to Steelix.
EngEdit: Vanilluxe was PMed for a reason, namely to prevent future challengers from being able to see the Pokemon and thus gain an advantage. Keep the data in your inbox, thank you.
The Frozen Hall is a hollowed out room shaped like a sphere. Gigantic icicles stretch from the floor to the ceiling, up about 25 feet. A frozen draft blows through the room, and as you continue through the snow gets stronger. You get the distinct feeling of being watched. Buried under the snow is a glimmering object that could be valuable. Thia part of the ice also seems to have some obsidian shards sticking out nearby, an odd feature for such a place, but who knows who has traversed the area? Do you place your hand in the snow?
Player Options
a) place your hand in the snow
b) ignore it and carry on

You scrape away part of the snow, revealing a tinderbox. You open it carefully to find
Aspear Berries (5), much to your delight. You continue scraping the ice and snow away in an effort to find more of these boxes; unfortunately, you don't, but you do see that the obsidian shards that you saw earlier are actually in the shape of horns... suddenly, the obsidian horns rise up from the ice, revealing what seems to be a monster encased in an armor if ice! It seems that whatever trap it attempted to spring failed, but it is still imposing nevertheless. As if to make matters worse, a blue feline creature leaps in gracefully, snarling viciously at your team!
Introductions aside, they continue to glare at your Pokemon, awaiting their moves.
Sadly enough, Cannon's first attack misses and Glalie's Blizzard ends up decimating your team in more ways than one. On the upside, Vanilluxe manages to land both hits; it might actually be the MVP of the encounter thus far.
I won't mince words—things are hardly going your way. Can you find a way to salvage the situation?
