um how do i hit a IV frame of 95.i know walking 128 steps advances it by # of pokemon in your party.im rnging shiny terrakion with 31/31/31/xx/31/31 so how many pokemon do i need and how many steps.is it posible to hit that frame by walking?pls help for this situation and my shiny frame is 543.the shiny frame cannot be hit right.cuz if i walk 128 steps it would advance the pid by 2 for each step right.?

Just search again for a frame 1 spread.
For both the DSi and 3DS, one must start the game 8 seconds earlier than the time prescribe within the RNG Reporter. Is that correct?

No, only the 3DS has the 8 second delay. The DSi is only about 2 seconds.
And if you do the parameter search correctly, it should tell you that anyway.
Okay I don't exactly understand timer0. I understand you can't change it, but can you do anything about it?
Timer0 just determines what seeds are usable on your game. It usually switches between two timer0s, but one is usually dominant.
For example, mine is C7F. That along with the rest of your ds parameters determine what you'll get ingame.
Everyone has their own hypothesis about how to "control" it, but I'm guessing most of those are just confirmation bias.

Question about C-Gear/Entralink RNGing:
I read through the guides and it told me I needed to calibrate my C-Gear seed. In HG/SS/D/P/Pt this was unnecessary, as all you needed to do is attempt to hit your seed and calibrate to the delay you actually hit and keep re adjusting to that. Do i really need to calibrate if I'm Entralink abusing?

I didn't. Have the calibration to -195 and the EL calibration to 296. you should be fine with those numbers and then going with the guide on the first page.
That is how you calibrate. I don't even think there's another way to do it.
So its basically like 4th gen? Guess and check?

It's quite possible. You just might have to set a higher max PID frame and/or search more months, depending on your ID/SID and parameters.
have you tried adding keypresses? it's quite impossible to find nothing in an entire year searching for seeds with 3 keypresses.
no i didnt try key press but after you told i did and got one :) .but the problem above your post still exists
that is i cant find any result for any id seed i chose .by hitting the seed and entering the id i got into the seed finder in pandoras box.please help
You'll have to give more information than that. What were you trying to get, what did you get, and what are your parameters? Describing how you did it might also help, in case you did something wrong in the process.
Alright hopefully my last couple of questions here... Alright, so after finding my Standard seed that I want, I went back into RNG reporter to find my PIDRNG seed. But I am confused on something. Should I have the Roamer Released checked? Along with that should I then hit calculate initial PIDRNG Frame?
And last question, what is the difference between a synchronized nature or not? Does that mean I have to use a synchronizer, and if it isn't a synchronized seed then I dont have to use it?

I'm back!!! =D OK, so I am trying my hand at RNG breeding now only becuase I need an egg move. I tried reading the guide here on smogon, but I got lost along the way. =/ Anyhow, I know the whole process of searching for IV's and hitting your seed, but I've tried at least four times now and the IV's don't match up, let alone the nature or gender. I'm sure I am hitting the seed, and IV's are calculated seperately from the PID part, so why am I not even getting the correct IV spread?

hello friends, so I was glad when I found out that we can use standard seeds and such for dsi so I've begun to start so but I'm stuck on callibrating because when I try to find my parameters after catching a wild pokemon it doesn't give me anything when I hit search. I'v put in all the information needed: iv ranges, version, ds type (dsi XL), mac address, and time and date. Am I doing somthing wrong here? Should I use soft resetting or held buttons, if yes on the latter which ones? Thanks in advance for the help.

When you breed, it only takes three IVs from the IV frame and the other three come from the parents. Which three it takes depends on the PIDRNG, so if you get the wrong PID frame, you'll probably get the wrong IVs.
Wow, breeding is much harder. And I tried matching up what I got to the output list, but couldn't find it. Then I took out the everstone nature on reporter and I believe I found it then. But why would it show up on a non-everstone list when I did use everstone in the process?
