My battle this morning

Omg, this is bullshit. I just had a battle that i lost from a spiritomb with wondergaurd. I hate that kid. what alittle bitch. This is why i hate playing people on serebii.net. I mean 6v6 standard OU, doesnt mean shoddy last time i looked. I figured I wouldnt just cut off my game even if he did cheat because i didnt want the loss, ha, did it really matter, NO!!! God i wish he was in smogon, I'd have his ass in Blacklist faster than Micheal Jackson Escaping molestation charges.

Thank you for that Lee that was sweet of you, however, I was going to have a question following this to make it relevant in Smogon...
Q- How would you beat a Spirit tomb with wondergaurd?
&
Q- I would like to know who would keep battling the player or if you would turn it off, even if you knew you would loose?
 
There's alot of ways to beat wondertomb. I'll make a short list of ways:

1. Toxic
2. Burn
3. Leech Seed
4. Sandstorm
5. Hail
6. Gastro Acid
7. Spikes, SR, etc
8. Confuse Ray
9. Stall out PP until the Wondertomb kills itself with Struggle (but this might be hard since they usually put hacked moves on wondertomb making it difficult to wall)
etc

I've beaten one before, I always carry a status condition on my team incase I come across one of these, it's hilarious to see their reaction after you beat one.

Thank you that was a big help. I play alot of pokemon, just never ran into this abundance of cheating. lol. Mostly just people turning off their games before they loose. Which is still quite humorous. So if you knew you were going to loose to a cheater, would you turn off your game or just take the loss?
 
I guess Toxic Blissey would be a great counter to a WonderTomb, especially the special variants. Physical variants won't be able to do much damage either.

Ludicolo can use it's Sp Def and Leech Seed to shat on it too.

But even if you could defeat it (which is fairly easy as long as you have the right Pokemon), then what's to say that the rest of the opponent's Pokemon aren't ridiculous hacks as well? Just d/c I say...the hackers will get bored quite quickly if they see the d/c screen everytime they play.

True... the wondertomb, as it is called, had this moveset...
Roar of Time
Magma Storm
Mind Reader
Sheer Cold


HOW????? I guess they would get bored and irritated quickly every time they see the d/c screen.
 
Didn't realise they ran Mind Reader/Sheer Cold...that takes the piss a little. If not for Magma Storm, Sturdy Magnezone would have fun.

Sturdy Shuckle with Toxic, especially in a Sandstorm, would be the definitive counter for that Pokemon. Wondertomb wouldn't stand a chance. Sturdy Probopass does the same job.
 
Haha, I should go back and re-battle him and tear his ass apart... show him how we do it on Smogon. lol. I hate shuckle, however i do have a sturdy shuckle, just need to replace the moveset, but im afraid of that mind reader/sheer cold crap. lol, protect nevermind.
 
Haha, he agreed to re-battle me with his same team. I'm bustin out my Uber, with a newly added Shuckle. This is gonna be good, I'm definitely posting this in Warstory.

Why? Sturdy means that OHKO moves do not affect Shuckle, regardless of Mind Reader.
 
OMG, Im really not paying attention. If he doesn't kill me, my ignorance from excitement will. That you for reminding me. You know, i've never been this internally aroused by a pokemon game.

And just so I don't get any cute little quips about my vocabulary:
Aroused-
1.to stir to action or strong response; excite: to arouse a crowd; to arouse suspicion.

Kyogre
And now Shuckle.

And i put in the wrong pokemon before, Azelf is my other however, im using shuckle for his damn Wondertomb. I hate him for putting me in a position for using shuckle.

We are about to fight. Give me a little bit. I dont know what hes doing, but he taking forever. and serebii.net is slow as hell also (as usual).
 
....why not just use a scrappy miltank/kangaskhan with a fighting move? It's still weak to dark, so if miltank were to come in on a revenge kill after roar of time, it could just focus punch it while it's paralyzed.
 
I think I read somewhere that Wonder Guard doesn't actually do what it says. It doesn't make you immune to anything you're not weak against - it makes you immune to anything but Dark, Fire, Ghost, Rock and Flying. That makes no difference for Shedinja, but for anything hacked with Wonder Guard that is where the key weakness lie. This would also explain why Fire Fang is reported to work on it.
 
In my experience, powering off doesn't give me a loss. I could be wrong, and am just remembering incorrectly though. That's what I'd do; turn the power off. I have no time for dumbfucks who hack like that.
