I discovered something annoying when breeding Shellos today. Out of 30 Shellos I bred out of a Blue Shellos and a ditto, all 30 of them were pink regardless of where they were hatched. The only way I got blue ones was using a blue female (with ditto, this produced blues as well). I believe it's because the default form is pink, while a seperate byte stores it's current form (0 for all pokemon besides shellos and deoxys).
This probably effects all of ~4 people who will ever breed them but now you know.
