My first RMT...Built for Standard OU 1v1

Weakestlink33's first RMT...Built for Standard OU 1v1

Well, this is my first attempt at a RMT...I've been looking at a lot of people's teams and seeing what worked and what didn't...Most of my pokes are pretty "standard" right now, but I am definitely willing to experiment with any suggestions...Here is goes (this is a shoddy team, but I will build it for wifi when I feel it is finished)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yanmega (M) @ Expert Belt
Ability: Speed Boost
EVs: 4 Def/252 Spd/252 SAtk
Modest nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
- Protect
- Bug Buzz
- Air Slash
- Hypnosis
---
This is my lead. I usually protect if my opponent is faster than base 95 or if I need to scout (for choice items, life orb, or to tell if opponent is a physical or special variation of versatile pokemon). Usually, if I am faster I will hypnotize the opponent unless I am confident that I can OHKO them (or 2 hit KO without taking much damage). Usually, Yanmega can destroy the opponent's starter along with sleeping (and sometimes killing) more.

Hippowdon (M) @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Stream
EVs: 252 HP/4 Atk/252 Def
Impish nature (+Def, -SAtk)
- Earthquake
- Ice Fang
- Stealth Rock
- Slack Off
---
Hippo is my physical wall. I usually switch him in to absorb physical hits that I don't want Garchomp or Luke to have to face (usually towards the beginning of the battle although I do attempt to keep him alive throughout). He also can counter these physical threast by dealing out some decent damage. He also sets up Sandstorm which plays into my next pokemon

dpmfa445.png

Garchomp (M) @ Yache Berry (switched from Life Orb)
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Jolly nature (+Spd, -SAtk)
- Swords Dance
- Earthquake
- Dragon Claw
- Fire Fang
---
I try to only switch in garchomp once sandstorm has already been set up by my physical wall (and when I am in no danger of taking an ice attack). I try to SD if I feel I need to. If not, I just sweep. Garchomp usually doesn't come in until the end of my battles (even if that means I am at a 2v4 disadvantage), and he gets the cleanup job done (so long as I have killed all pokes with ice). By the way, he used to be adamant, but I was being outsped by other garchomps so I switched.

dpmfa448.png

Lucario (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Inner Focus
EVs: 4 HP/252 Atk/252 Spd
Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
- Close Combat
- Swords Dance
- Extremespeed
- Crunch
---
Lucario is a second physical sweeper to take care of all the pokes who threaten Garchomp. He is also the only poke I have who can (somewhat easily) take out ghosts. I would like to somehow add a second pokemon somewhere who also knows a dark (or ghost) attack to take care of ghosts once he is gone. I also like to SD him if I can afford to.

dpmfa121.png

Starmie @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 160 HP/216 Spd/132 SAtk
Timid nature (+Spd, -Atk)
- Thunderbolt
- Rapid Spin
- Recover
- Surf
---
Really, this is my only true special sweeper. Like to use him to take care of gyarados and miltonic. I also sometimes sacrifice him to take care of spikes/rocks. However, I don't feel I am too good at using him

dpffa242.png

Blissey (F) @ Leftovers
Ability: Natural Cure
EVs: 252 Def/40 SAtk/216 SDef
Calm nature (+SDef, -Atk)
- Softboiled
- Ice Beam
- Thunder Wave
- Seismic Toss
---
Finally, I have Blissey. This is usually the last poke I have alive. Anything garchomp leaves, blissey will have to face (although she has probably already been switched in and out several times throughout the battle). I try my best to make sure there are only special pokes left after everyone else is dead, and this blissey can sometimes take out the last 2 (or even 3) pokes the opponent has (as long as they are special). She is the most annoying poke I know (which is the main reason I have overloaded on physical pokemon). I could also not imagine myself even dropping her from my teams.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Threat List: (This is still in progress as I seem to get torn apart do to my inexperience as much as due to my team...And sometimes I can't tell the difference)
Dusknoir- Once Lucario is gone, I have a real tough time getting rid of him
"Defensive Seeder" Celebi- On paper almost all of my pokes should have a super effective attack on him, but these things tera me apart
Ice Pokemon
Ice attacks on non-ice pokemon including hp ice (which always seems to surprise me when I am about the sweep...and then I lose)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Please feel free to recommend changes for any aspects of my team. I will likely test them out (and probably even keep your changes). Please also feel free to comment on my RMT abilities as this is my first ever RMT. By the way, my shoddy rating is 1330-1421 with a conservative rating of 1194 (I'm not sure which numbers are the important ones). Also, I have tried my best to learn strategy, but most of my ideas are probably wrong so feel free to offer strategical advice to if you notice I have flawed ideas in mine. I did join the battling 101 program, but my tutor was really busy those weeks and all we had time to do was build a Raichu themed team (which I have completely changed by now except for blissey and starmie). I don't think I need to say anything else, but let me know if I do

The big problem with this, of course, is "Deoxys E". Deoxys E simply plows through your team, forcing you to simply switch and switch and hope that it will never guess correctly, forcing unnecessary risk on your part.

This also means that Mamoswine is a giant pain for your team, especially the Mix Variants.

The solution is of course, Bronzong, Mesprit, or Uxie. SD Luke + Garchomp is a physical force to be reckoned with, you can use Garchomp to kill many of SD Luke's "counters" such as Gliscor and sweep with SD Luke afterwards. I dont see Yanmega doing too much, I'd replace Yanmega with your choice. Mesprit carries a mean U Turn, just in case Celebi decides to come in. Bronzong can also explode on it.

I'd honestly just go with Yache Chomp. LO SD Dragon Claw if I recall correctly does get some KOs on some things, but you'd survive and KO them with the next move anyway. Yache Berry is simply superior simply because it makes it a lot harder to revenge kill.

I will definitely test out replacing yanmega with bronzong and edit my first post if it seems to be working better. Would you recommend opening with a chesto berry bronzong?

I will also replace Life Orb with Yache Berry, because that seems to make a lot of sense. I somehow overlooked yache berry when designing the team

Thanks for your input :)
