Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to CAP ASB Battles! A chance for young, aspiring trainers can duke it out for a chance to win it big and become a Pokemon master! My name is DarkSlay, and I'll be your MC and referee for what is expected to be an outstanding doubles battle between two new and upcoming trainers! Let's get this match underway!
RULES
Format: 2v2 Doubles Singles
DQ: 2 days
Restrictions: 0 uses of Recover/Rest and 5 chills
Arena: A beautiful lake, with serene waters. There are several wide leaves scattered here and there, which can take the weight of 1 Pokemon at a time. The sky is a bright blue.

Turn of events:
I. D_W sends out his two Pokemon and abilities.
II. Wyverii sends out her two Pokemon and abilities and issues her moves.
III. D_W issues his moves as a response.
IV. DarkSlay reports the results.
V. D_W issues his moves.
VI. Wyverii issues her moves as a response.
VII. DarkSlay reports the results.
VIII. Repeat steps II through VII.
I'll choose King the Piplup with his only ability Torrent and Nuttali the Murkrow with the ability Super Luck!
First Nuttali should Taunt Ms. Ardy while King sets up an Aqua Ring, then throw a Confuse Ray from Nuttali at Aqua Regia. King will Yawn atthe Lanturn in the meantime. Finally a double attack of Shadow Ball and Bubblebeam at Ms. Ardy from Nutalli and King respectively.
Murkrow: Taunt -> Confuse Ray (Lanturn) -> Shadow Ball (Misdreavous)
Piplup: Aqua Ring -> Yawn (Lanturn) -> Bubblebeam (Misdreavous)
Ms.Ardy, first of all, you can't avoid the Taunt, so there's no point trying. Thunderbolt Murkrow turn 1, and Aqua Regia, use Thunder on Murkrow(get as close to it as possible before using this attack, this *must* not miss), and sink into the water once you get the hit in.
Next up, Ms. Ardy, use Hidden Power on Murkrow! Aqua Regia, you should be able to avoid both Yawn and Confuse Ray since you're out of sight, so wait till both attacks have been used(Ms. Ardy can telepathetically communicate with you if necessary), and then rise and use Scald on Murkrow as Misdreavus sinks into the water to avoid the attacks. Aqua Regia, use Rain Dance.
Look at what I got, viewers: a whole barrel full of Magikarp and Feebas! Nothing like fishing in a relaxing lake! Welcome to this week's edition of Pokemon Battles, and this time, we're bringing you live coverage of an exciting Doubles battle between two of the league's top trainers! Let's get this battle underway! D_W sends out Aqua Regia the Lanturn and Ms. Ardy the Misdreavus! Wyverii sends out King the Piplup and Nuttali the Murkrow!
Nuttali begins the battle by dancing about in a very pompous manner. He puffs out his chest and begins to chortle heartily. Ms. Ardy gets caught up in this Taunt, which makes her furious and wanting immediate revenge to Nuttali's antics. Ms. Ardy will be unable to use non-attacking moves temporarily. Immediately, Ms. Ardy uses her anger and mystical force to create static, enough to fire off a powerful Thunderbolt at Nuttali! This hits for massive damage! Aqua Regia lights up his antenna brightly, which creates a large beam of electricity to shoot off into the sky. Clouds gather around this beam and form electrocurrents off of this energy, creating a massive Thunder strike aimed at Nuttali! The thunder strike rapidly approaches the lake, but is redirected to a nearby tree and misses! King takes this opportunity to surround itself with rings of water directly from the lake. These Aqua Rings warp around King, tickling him and relaxing him a bit. King will recover damage at the end of each action temporarily. Aqua Regia, upset about the missed Thunder, delves deep into the lake and regroups for the next turn.
Nuttali is at it again: this time he culminates some of his dark energy to create a beam of light. Confuse Ray! The beam of light hits the surface of the water, but evaporates before it can reach Aqua Regia. Ms. Ardy unleashes her inner strength to summon a power deep inside of her. This Hidden Power forms into a great brown ball, and flies quickly toward Nuttali! This causes decent damage. Aqua Regia cunningly stays down underwater in attempts to avoid King and Nuttali, but King is clever himself: the Water type quickly submerges his head into the waters and summons a loud, high pitched Yawn! Aqua Regia and the nearby swimming Pokemon hear this yawn, and become instantly tired. Aqua Regia will fall asleep in three turns! Aqua Regia, tired but determined, uses its electrical powers to heat up the water around it. This creates a Scalding water current, which he carries to the surface and flings right at Nuttali! This causes good damage!
Nuttali, tired of Ms. Ardy's onslaught of attacks, decides to mischievously create an attack of his own with his energy: a mystical Shadow Ball! The ball flies towards Ms. Ardy and hits for great damage! Ms. Ardy also has her Special Defense drop by one stage! Ms. Ardy responds once again with a high-powered Thunderbolt, which hits for massive damage! Aqua Regia swirls around the waters in a rhythmic formation. This Dance summons large, gray clouds to form in the sky, which produce a large amount of Rain! Rain will be in effect for six rounds! King sips some of the lake water and begins to gurgle it a bit. He then combines it with self-made water pressure and fires off a Bubblebeam at Ms. Ardy! The Rain-boosted beam hits Ms. Ardy for great damage!

For starters, we need to KO Murkrow no matter what!
Ms.Ardy, use Thunderbolt on Murkrow again! Aqua Regia, hit it with Thunder! Ms.Ardy, you're alone now, so go into the lake and hold your breath for the remaining 2 actions, but if they try to use attacks to penetrate the lake, come out and use Psybeam on Piplup! Aqua Regia, sleep, but if you wake up before the end of the turn, use Thunder on Piplup,or Murkrow if it survives!
Oh god my poor bird. There's little I can do for him except hope that Thunder will miss. Nuttali while flying up high, use another Shadow Ball on Ms. Ardy before they can down you and if you still live afterwards Pursuit Ms. Ardy into the water, wait a bit to let King go first then follow up his attack with an Assurance!
King, while Ms.Ardy is finishing up her attack and is trying to get underwater grant her her wish and Surf over her and Aqua Regia underneath Nuttali. Follow that up by going underwater and blasting an Ice Beam at her then finish up with a Bubblebeam whether Nuttali's there to back you up or not.
FIELD EFFECT: Rain is pouring down on the lake, lasting for 5 1/3 more rounds.
BEGIN ROUND TWO
The round starts off in a hurry. Ms. Ardy begins with another high-powered Thunderbolt aimed at Nuttali, which hits for great damage! Nuttali becomes Paralyzed due to the high voltage of the shock! Aqua Regia yawns, and signals for one final Thunder attack before he falls alseep. The clouds gather in the sky once more, this time creating a HUGE bolt of electricity that strikes Nuttali directly for massive damage! Nuttali, now emitting smoke from its body, lays motionless on the leaf it was standing on. Nuttali fainted! King, sad at Nuttali's sudden end, conjures up a mighty Rain-boosted Surf to hit its foes. This hits Ms. Ardy for great damage, and Aqua Regia for decent damage! Aqua Regia falls into an intense sleep (3 turns)!
Quickly, Ms. Ardy floats into the lake and goes deep underneath for this turn. As it's swimming down, Aqua Regia just simply floats near the top of the lake, dreaming of swimming freely in the ocean with his Chinchou and Lanturn friends! King catches Ms. Ardy's trick and jumps into the lake, swimming after Ms. Ardy in pursuit. It fires off a chilling Ice Beam from within itself, which hits Ms. Ardy for good damage! The water seems to be getting colder after the Ice Beam, which is interesting.
Ms. Ardy stops and turns around, noticing the now underwater King. She fires off a strong Psybeam, hitting King square in the face! Aqua Regia fires off a strong Thunder...in its dreams! It's playing with its friends by creating light shows in the sky with Thunder! King, the proud penguin that he is, fires off a nice Rain-boosted Bubblebeam at Ms. Ardy, which hits for good damage! The bubbles are so strong, Ms. Ardy is pretty shocked, and has its Speed lowered by one stage! Aqua Ring heals some damage off of King!

round 2...aquatic supremacy?
King, seeing himself at a *slight* disadvantage, fires off a Bubblebeam in an attempt to take down Ms. Ardy. The feminine ghost simply responds with a cackle as she launches a Thunderbolt at the baby penguin. Both Pokemon are nearing the end of the line. Meanwhile, Aqua Regia keeps snoozing. King sighs as the last of his Aqua Ring depletes, however it did heal him a little bit before leaving.
Aqua Regia, finally waking up from his nap, launches a massive Thunder at poor King. Surprisingly, the tough little penguin manages to hold his ground against that massive onslaught. King gets up again, only to be struck by a Thunderbolt from Ms. Ardy, still cackling with insanity. Now pissed as fuck, the penguin calls in a massive Surf, swamping and knocking out the dangerously insane Ms. Ardy.
King grins at his accomplishment, and then follows up with a Yawn. Aqua Regia, remembering his master's actions, quickly dives into the pool of water. However, he was not quick enough to avoid hearing part of the Yawn. Thus, he will fall asleep in four (4) actions.

Aqua Regia wastes no time or gives no mercy to King as he launches a Psybeam. The penguin finally drops down, taken out. Destiny_Warrior wins!
