Round Seven (?): Inching towards the finish

Slightly loopy, Mienfoo staggers around the arena for a few moments, but eventually shakes himself off and gets to buisiness. He raises his hands into a defensive position and begins to take in the arena. He hones in on any possible threats: the grind of the angry Ferroseed a few meters away, the shingles still falling from the rooftops from the Earthquake, but most importantly the ghost in front of him. As he stands ready to deflect any attack, Frillish seems content to take it easy. Ursula relaxes in the air, letting herself droop closer to the ground as she watches her harmless foe with an inquisitive look.

Tired of the wait, Mienfoo decides to get rid of the annoying destractions he had just accounted for, and sits down on the ground peacefully. He closes his eyes, and starts honing his aura, building up a resistance to the supernatural elements as his mind drifts away from the battle. Frillish continues to float around in mid-air, but this time she drifts a little closer to the Mienfoo, and even brushes beside him slightly to get him to play, but he has completely shut himself off from the outside world.

Newly focused, Mienfoo rises to his feet and begins eyeing the entire arena, prepared to take on any threats that may come his way. As he eases into a defensive position, Frillish hangs back, and begins to spew water from her inner body onto the arena. The force manages to push her back a few feet and make the arena slippery, causing Ferroseed to move slightly faster as he spins forwards into Mienfoo, who is knocked back by the iron barbs.

ROUND EIGHT: THE FINAL SHOWDOWN

Mienfoo boldly picks himself up from the ground, hatred racing through his eyes. The pathetic jellyfish has done enough and taunted him for an entire round. It's time to get revenge. So he does the most manly, heroic, and generally epic thing he can do. He runs away. As Mienfoo hurries off away the Ferroseed, Frillish decides it's time to fight, and forms an orb of shadows in front of her. Right as Mienfoo starts to turn around, he is nailed in the chest by the Shadow Ball, and is flung backwards.

Frillish seems slightly conufsed as Mienfoo stays down, but doesn't really care, as he can't harm her. So, she thinks of bitter thoughts of violence, warming up her inner body and causing her blood to boil. Literally. As her core temperature approaches the boiling point, Ursula blasts out the wave of scalding water at Mienfoo. However, IT'S A TRAP! Mienfoo jumps into the air, and pulls a Matrix-esque dodging technique, causing the water to pass under him.

Realizing that the match is pretty much over, and enraged at his humiliation, Mienfoo begins to spout off a taunt. Certain words have been edited out in translation and replaced with much kinder ones to keep this PG-13. "You undead girl! Stop messing around with me! You couldn't even keep yourself alive, and you actually expect to win! Also, you do realize that most guys want to date someone who is, I don't know, ALIVE. And with all of that said, you're still the fattest, ugliest-"

And then he collapsed to the ground from a shadow ball to the chest, leaving a rather furious Frillish standing victorious.
