welcome to this match-up between iss and fire blast. let's check out the rules for this sure-to-be hot (dohoho) match.
Better get rid of this open battle slot.

Switch = Fire Blast wins + gets all of iss's pokemon

Arena: The Battle Observation Center

A Battling Center in which scientists observe battles and record what they see. The Arena is a simple rectangular space with an open roof so the pokemon get some fresh air. Moves that will damage the delicate machinery used by the scientists are banned for the center. These include Rock-type moves, Ground-type moves, and Water-type moves. At any point in the match, there is a chance that one of the scientists will yell "Eureka" after making an amzaing discovery. This will encourage both pokemon currently battling, causing them to do 3 more damage then they would normally would have done on the next attack they use. The effect can only hapen once a round, and will only affect one attacking move used by the pokemon. There is a 1/16 chance that "Eureka" will be yelled on any given action.
sounds like an interesting location for sure, but if those scientists have too many bright ideas this match could be over in a flash. let's have a look at the teams then.

iss's team:

Eevee: Joel (M)
Nature: Modest (Adds One (1) Rank to Special Attack; Subtracts One (1) Rank From Attack)
Type: Normal
Normal: Normal STAB; adapt comfortably to any surrounding after 3 actions. Able to use Outrage without losing focus.

Abilities:
Run Away: (Innate) This Pokemon is quick on its feet and will evade any field traps and hazards that would harm it (Spikes, Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes) in an arena. A Pokemon can still absorb Toxic Spikes if it has Run Away and is Poison-typed. Run Away does not allow the Pokemon to switch out of trapping moves or abilities, however it can escape other situational trapping strategies in battle.
Adaptability: (Innate) The moves that match this Pokemon’s type have their Base Attack Power increased by two (2).
Anticipation (DW): (Innate) This Pokemon is better at sensing dangerous attacks, and reduced the Base Attack Power from super-effective attacks, Selfdestruct, and Explosion by two (2).

Stats:

HP: 90
Atk: Rank 1 (-)
Def: Rank 2
SpA: Rank 3 (+)
SpD: Rank 3

fire blast's team:

Larvesta [Flare] (M)

Nature:

Bug STAB; Anger Powder, Poison Powder, Sleep Powder, Solarbeam, Spore, Stun Spore, Roost have Energy Cost reduced by one (1).
Fire STAB; immune to burn, 50% reduction in freeze chance, emit a low glow in dark places, takes additional damage if active open flames are exposed to a water attack. Solarbeam has Energy Cost reduced by one (1).

Stats:

HP: 90
Atk: Rank 2 (-)
Def: Rank 2
SpA: Rank 3 (+)
SpD: Rank 2
Spe: 60

EC: 3/6
MC: 0
DC: 3/5

Abilities:

Flame Body (Innate) This Pokemon’s external temperature is kept at such a high level that any contact attack used on this Pokemon has a 30% chance of burning the opponent.

Swarm: (Innate) [DW] When this Pokemon’s HP is lower than 33% (flat), the Base Attack Power of any Bug-typed attack is increased by 2. (eg Silver Wind goes from 6 to 8, Scissor Cross from 8 to 10).

Ember
String Shot
Leech Life
Take Down
Bug Buzz

Morning Sun
Zen Headbutt
Magnet Rise

Fire Blast
Wild Charge
Sunny Day
Hidden Power [Ground, 7]

so let's get this underway. first off iss chooses his ability, then fire blast gives actions, and then iss does. then it is my job to ref. let's go!

Okay Flare, we can win this!

Sunny Day~Fire Blast~Solar Beam

If he uses Yawn, start to Bug Buzz to stop yourself from hearing the Yawn and replace all remaining actions with Fire Blast unless he uses Yawn again, in which case continue to Bug Buzz.

Poor Joel :(

We're probably gonna lose this, but we may as well try. Start off with a 19 HP Substitute to take the Fire Blast, then Shadow Ball. Put up a 15 HP Substitute to end the round.

19 HP Sub ~ Shadow Ball ~ 15 HP Sub

welcome to the battle observation center, where we will analyse this battle like a scientist. flare seems eager to start, and somehow channels energy into the sun, making it a more sunny day. joel creates a substitute out of thin air, and hides behind it for protection. flare generates a huge ball of fire made even more massive with help from the brighter sun and blasts it at joel's substitute, but the substitute isn't broken. joel skips out from behind the substitute after generating a ball of shadows, firing it at flare for reasonable damage, then hides again. flare has had enough of these silly games, and charges energy for a solarbeam; thanks to the sun it's done instantly and the powerful beam shatters joel's substitute and damages him somewhat too. but joel has his trollface swag on and just throws up another substitute. oh dear.

it's still really sunny too.

welcome back to the research center for the next round of this battle. flare is angry about joel still hiding behind his substitute, but he senses something suspicious is about to happen. he screeches out a horrible bug buzz, which means me manages to avoid the yawning of joel, who seems bored behind the substitute. flare channels his anger with help from the sun and lets loose another mighty solarbeam, but joel giggles as it fails to smash the substitute. he does, however, try to replace the substitute, but since he's already got one the effort is wasted.

suddenly, a loud shout comes from the scientists. "WE'VE GOT SOMETHING WE'VE GOT SOMETHING," they cry happily, but it only seems they've discovered the espyjump set. flare and joel aren't aware of this though and get pumped up, ready to attack. flare generates a massive fireball and blasts it at joel's substitute, but it misses and fuels his anger even more. joel returns fire with a shadow ball of his own, which does more damage since he was pumped up, and even drops flare's special defense.

it's still sunny as well.
