[Overview]

• While outclassed by some (all) Fake Out users, has Encore (which Meowth and Aipom lack) and Unburden, which synergizes fine in terms of movepool. Can Taunt to keep rocks from going up.
• Speed Boost lost upon switching out = bad

[SET COMMENTS]

• Fake Out allows Purrloin to get the flinch and boost from Unburden.
• Taunt shuts down slower support mons (Hippopotas, Lileep if you're lucky) assuming you can switch out before dying
• Encore is important to stop set-up (again hoping you don't die)
• Sucker Punch adds priority to the team to pick off weakened Pokemon (isn't going to do much, use with Fake Out and hope something dies)

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

• Life Orb could be used if consistent extra power with Sucker Punch is desired, use Limber as ability instead, but this makes Purrloin die even faster to recoil
• Focus Sash could also work with Encore, locking a Pokemon like Drilbur into Earthquake, assuming you can keep hazards away completely (something Purrloin is typically not bulky enough to do)
• Defenses aren't really worth any EV investment
• If you really are a cat person, try using Glameow sometime instead

[Other Options]

• Night Slash, Nasty Plot (kinda really lol), Return, Hone Claws, Possible annoyance set with Charm, Yawn etc and hazard support

[Checks and Counters]

• Fighting-types, Mach Punch especially
• Faster leads with Fake Out make it cry real tears, not just fake ones
• Bulkier Pokemon can typically wall it, even if they can't set up SR or Spikes
• Must watch out for stronger attacks, such as Zigzagoon Tackle

[Dream World]

• Once Prankster is released, this will be much more viable. Normal Gem will not be needed to activate Unburden and Encore will automatically shut down Clamperl, Scraggy, Drilbur etc

In the overview it says buneary doesn't learn encore,buneary learns encore form egg move...




Edit:Also what does it have over mewoth or aipom unberdens nice and all but you'll have to stay in just to keep that that speed boost and mewoth and aipom have stab on thier fake outs so they don't have to use a gem to power it up (and mewoth has technincian to boot) plus purrloin has a extra weaknecss due to it's typing. yawn nice but mewoth has hypnosis and over two turns hipnosis will almost have the same chance as yawns, and mewoth and aipom has can resort to liforb for more power and they have u-turn and they have a better movepool.

Bad stats, way too situational and even when it is that situation it works only once, shitty movepool. When this thing gets Prankster it would be useful, but atm I don't think it deserves an analysis because its not really viable.
