[SET]
name: Sub
stitute +3 Attacks
move 1: Substitute
move 2: Head Charge / Return
move 3: Stone Edge / Megahorn
move 4: Earthquake
item: Leftovers
ability: Sap Sipper
nature: Adamant
evs: 252 Atk / 4
SpD / 252 Spe

With a combination of imposing bulk, intimidating power, and just enough Speed to outrun common walls, Bouffalant makes an excellent user of Substitute. Bouffalant can switch into common Grass-types in the tier, such as Lilligant, and force a switch. AfterSubstitute is set up, Bouffalant puts a large amount of offensive pressure on the opponent, especially with an Attack boost from Sap Sipper. Once behind a Substitute, Bouffalant also becomes very hard to revenge kill. Head Charge is Bouffalant's strongest attack, crushing most its opponents with ease. Return is a slightly weaker option, though itdeals no recoil damage. This set uses max Speed to outpace slower walls, making it easy to set up a Substitute on their weak attacks and status moves. Earthquake gives Bouffalant coverage against Rock- and Steel-types, most notably Steelix, who would otherwise wall this set. Stone Edge allows Bouffalant to hit levitating Ghost-types, such as Haunter and Rotom. Megahorn is also an option to hit bulkier Grass- and Psychic-types, such as Uxie and Tangrowth, though you lose out on coverage.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

If you feel Bouffalant needs the extra power, Life Orb could be considered. However, the combination of Substitute and Head Charge is already semi-suicidal because of the recoil damage, and Life Orb does not help this problem. An alternate EV spread of 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD can be used to make your Substitutes bulkier, but you lose the ability to outspeed slower walls and set up Substitute on them. Payback is also a more reliable option in the third moveslot to hit Ghost-types, but with max Speed it can be counterproductive at times. Bouffalant works well with Pokemon that can lure inGrass-types attacks. Bulky Water-types, such as Slowking, are excellent choices for this role, as they can beat one of Bouffalant's best counters, Gligar. Physical walls give this set trouble, as while still powerful, Bouffalant lacks the raw power of the Choice Band set. Pokemon such as mixed Honchkrow are excellent partners to take down these walls.

I assume from the mentions of luring Grass-types that Sap Sipper should be the listed ability?

Also, NoBlue was right, you are an RU pioneer. Trust you to come up with sets that make us wonder why we didn't think of them sooner.

@below: Smart ass. Also, not what I meant with the "lure" bit. He mentions teammates that lure in Grass-types multiple times, so Sap Sipper needs to be the listed ability. I know what Sap Sipper and Sub sets are supposed to do :/

yea a real pioneer except for the fact that he got subafrobull from me and i stole it from BRO FIST. and no it doesnt "lure" grass types as i hope we are all aware of sap sip by now. afro's main niche is countering lilligant, cockblocking grass types in general, and being able to set up a sub on numerous defensive mons and pummel balance teams. sub is really helpful for blocking will-os from ghosts like cofag and preventing scald burns from bulky waters like slowking too. afrobull is also a good backup check in a pinch for random offensive threats you forget about because normal typing is prone to neutral hits and his good natural bulk allows him to tank and ko back.

also, the main spread should really be max hp to make heftier subs and soften head charge recoil. i'd mention an alternative in ac to outspeed min lanturn/min giant luvdisc thing (for a quicker sub to block scald burns and other status) even though im seeing less and less of those...

might get back to this later when i've got more time

edit @ counters section: add gligar, only hp fight cofag can touch you so he's actually pretty shaky, and steelix takes a decent chunk from eq and only phazes you out in return..

Megahorn should be the main move on the 3rd slot to deal more damage to Tangrowth (best physical wall along Gligar so it's pretty important). Otherwise:

QC APPROVED 3/3

This set uses max Speed to outspeed slower walls and set up a Substitute on their weak attacks and status moves. Earthquake gives you coverage against Rock- and Steel-types, especially Steelix, who would otherwise wall this set. Stone Edge allows you to hit levitating Ghost-types, such as Haunter and Rotom. Megahorn is also an option in the last slot to hit bulkier Grass- and Psychic-types, such as Uxie and Tangrowth, although you lose out on coverage.

[ADDITIONAL COMMENTS]

If you feel Bouffalant needs the extra power, Life Orb is an option, but with the combination of Substitute and Head Charge, it is semi-suicidal and not the best option thing to do. An alternate EV spread of 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 Spe can be used to make your Substitutes bulkier and soften the recoil of Head Charge or Life Orb, but you lose out on the ability to outspeed slower walls and set up Substitute on them. Payback is also a more reliable option in the third moveslot to hit Ghost-types, but with max Speed it can be counterproductive at times. Bouffalant works well with Pokemon that can lure in Grass-types attacks. Bulky Water-types, such as Slowking, are excellent choices for this role, especially as since they can beat one of Bouffalant's best counters, Gligar. Physical walls give this set trouble, [remove comma] because Bouffalant, while still powerful, lacks the raw power of the Choice Band set, so Pokemon that can past defeat these walls them are recommended. Pokemon such as mixed Honchkrow are excellent partners to take down these physical walls.

When I quoted this, there was just a bunch of code for the picture and it wasn't even working. So I just got a new one. Other than that, very well written. :)
