Two soon-to-be partners in climbing to the Eye of the Storm, LouisCyphre and zarator, face off in the hopes of preparing their Pokemon for the toils ahead. Lou brings with him Valentine the Electrike and Tee Hee the Voodoll; zarator is accompanied by two Pichu, Anhur and Isis. As the round begins, electricity arcs in all sorts of directions; both of the Pichu are struck, but their attacks are drawn to Valentine. The thunder pup, though paralyzed, is clearly more powerful for it - Lou's zombie doll manages to escape scot-free as well.

Valentine takes the initiative after the electricity is discharged, launching his own discharge of power - the force of the blow strikes every Pokemon on the field, including its partner (who appears to be paralyzed from the force of the attack). The Pichu are quick to retaliate - first Isis, releasing a small jolt of electric energy directed at Tee Hee. However, once again, Valentine draws the electricity in, growing ever stronger for it. Anhur attempts to use some sort of hidden technique, but his muscles seize up as he attempts to do so - full paralysis sets in, stopping him from completing the move! Tee Hee finally acts once the Pichu are done with their trivial assault - a haunting song fills the ears of all who hear it, promising oblivion in a rather short period of time. This referee certainly did not need to hear that - perhaps he won't be conscious enough to finish the match.

Tee Hee takes initiative after his eerie solo with a mighty Discharge, which, for some reason, feels more like a Normal-Type attack than an Electric one. All parties (barring the animated doll itself, of course) are greatly hurt by the attack - it surely was a doozy! Valentine tries to replicate it, but he can't even move... looks like the paralysis is taking its toll on everyone today. Isis is quick to capitalize, launching another ThunderShock at Tee Hee in vain. Valentine, though mildly wounded by the attack, is almost overflowing with electric power - next round certainly won't be good for zarator. Anhur closes the round with a mildly effectual blast to Tee Hee, though this referee can't discern its type signature to save his life.

Who will emerge victorious from this training duel? Will this referee endure the Perish Song and Discharges (seriously, what the hell, man? That shit HURTS.) long enough to finish overseeing the battle? Tune in next time to find out!

The second round of the duel between LouisCyphre and zarator begins with both parties being rather battered; both are at slightly above half of their optimal vitality and paralyzed to boot; however, it is clear that all four combatants are brimming with energy. Anhur takes initiative, rushing into Valentine before she has a chance to act. Tee Hee proceeds to infuriate Isis with his odd gestures and antics, leaving her with a mindset of destruction and hatred rivaled only by Ghe- *shot*. Valentine is unable to do anything about the battle for the moment, flinching from Anhur's sudden attack, but Isis is more than happy to launch the strange energy towards Valentine, but it isn't very powerful.

Isis attempts to mimic the actions of her counterpart to stop Electrike from interfering for a little bit longer, but she's wracked with pain - she's fully paralyzed and cannot act! Tee Hee, happy to jump in, proceeds to taunt Anhur, instilling in him a rage that matches his companion's. Valentine follows up the taunting with a mighty blast of electric energy, greatly harming everything on the field. It appears that, once again, the discharge has made Tee Hee's condition worse. Anhur finishes the exchange of blows with some energy - upon closer inspection, it appears to be somewhat earthen - blasted at Valentine. However, the progress is much too slow; at this rate, LouisCyphre will emerge victorious.

Tee Hee and Valentine fire blasts in tandem - two Discharges, both extraordinarily powerful. While Tee Hee and Valentine are caught in the crossfire somewhat, the Pichu pair suffers the most - both are clearly exhausted, and cannot fight much longer. However, the pair launches the strange energy at Valentine in tandem, leaving noticable wounds. For a Training match, this sure is brutal - all parties are exhausted and paralyzed, clearly suffering after all of their exertions. In addition, everyone in the stadium can feel the time slipping away; it won't be long before the four slip into unconsciousness.

As the final round of this training confrontation begins, all four combatants are clearly the worse for wear. All four are paralyzed and badly wounded; it's surprising that they've held out this long. Both Isis and Anhur attempt rush at Electrike in an attempt to KO it in the final moments of the battle. Isis' hit connects, leaving Electrike staggering, but Anhur is wracked with paralysis and cannot follow through. Tee Hee is certainly kind enough to finish the job, though, and discharges a burst of electricity that knocks out all three of the other Pokemon on the field! However, before LouisCyphre can withdraw him, his horrid song rushes back to his ears - he's unconscious before he hits the ground, knocked out by his own technique. This referee is surprised to declare that this... match... is a......

The referee fell unconscious as well; luckily, the battlers were smart enough to have ear protection for just such an occasion, and managed to figure out the results between themselves.
