Arena: Type Changing Arena
Arena: Type Changing Arena
Field Type: All Types
Complexity: Simple
Formats: All Formats

Restrictions: All moves are allowed.

Description:
It's the standard arena, except somebody has implanted a strange device in the middle of the field! For the duration of the first round, this device is off. After the end of each round, though, it beeps and suddenly alters the elemental makeup of the arena, giving certain benefits to certain types and detriments to some other ones. Each time the makeup is altered, a random type is chosen. All attacking moves whose types hit the chosen type for super-effective damage have 2 more BAP, while all attacking moves whose types hit the chosen type for not very effective or zero damage have 2 less BAP. There is one exception to this rule; all attacking moves whose type matches that of the gem receive +3 BAP, disregarding the weakness bonuses and the resistance nerfs.

Summary: Certain types get buffed every round.

Teams

Engineer:

Sigilyph* (Shinto) (F)
Nature: Timid (+15% Spe, +14% [14.418%] Acc, Attack decreased by *)

Type: Psychic / Flying
Psychic STAB; less susceptible to blinding, more susceptible to sound-based assaults as far as locking on with Psychic attacks, can lift and throw opponents with Psychic regardless of Special Attack Rank. Psychic-type attacks are not godlike and cannot be used as a catchall for Disabling, Binding, and redirecting opposing attacks.

Flying STAB; immunity to Ground attacks except under the effects of Smack Down and Gravity, even for ground-based flying Pokemon. Will always hit foes with Dig (except other Flying types) and Dive. Cannot be hit by Dive unless the attacking Pokemon has a size class greater than four (4). Immune to Spikes and Toxic Spikes. Enhanced aerial mobility. Superior senses in open air arenas.

Abilities:
Wonder Skin: (Innate) The Pokemon's skin has an agent that heaviliy resists attempts to change its composition. It changes the accuracy of all non-damaging attacks to 50% before applying any other modifiers.
Magic Guard: (Innate) This Pokemon is infused with a powerful psycho-electric energy that makes it immune to damage from Spikes, Stealth Rock, Hail, Sandstorm, Leech Seed, Poisoning, and Burn. It can still attack itself in confusion, but will not take any damage from it. Additionally, the energy protects the Pokemon from its own reckless recoil attacks. Toxic still increases in damage each round, although if Magic Guard is in effect the Pokemon will not suffer any damage. Life Orb recoil is not negated.
Tinted Lens (LOCKED): (Innate) When this Pokemon uses an attack that is normally not very effective, that attack is calculated at the next highest resisrance modifier. (e.g. 4x resistance is calculated at 2x, 2x resistance becomes neutral).

Alright, this won't be easy for you guys, but you can do it! It's time to have fun!

You've only been in one fight so far, but you can do this! Start off by tossing that Revenankh towards the Blastoise to mess them both up, then hurl an attack towards that Revenankh's way! Finish up by dealing damage and throwing the Blastoise into the moat!

Shinto: Psychic (Revenankh into Blastoise) - Air Slash (Revenankh) - Psychic (Blastoise into the moat)

Since Psychic is basically picking your target up and throwing it across the arena, hopefully it shouldn't be too much of a stretch to specify where to throw it. If there's a problem, let me know!

I haven't used you in a fight for a pretty long time, so let's do what you're best at doing!

Benkei: [ENABLE SHEER FORCE] ThunderPunch (Blastoise) - ThunderPunch (Blastoise) - ThunderPunch (Blastoise)

The battle kicks off with Engineer's freakish Sigilyph using Psychic powers to throw Revenankh directly in front of Blastoise! This not only injures him but also puts him in the path of Blastoise's Water Spout attack! But Revenankh seems cocky, and Taunts Sigilyph as if to say "Is that all you've got?". Conkeldurr then whallops Blastoise with a particularly powerful ThunderPunch, as if to reply "No".
Sigilyph then flinches Revenankh with an Air Slash. Blastoise continues Spouting that Water but earns another ThunderPunch for his troubles.
Sigilyph then decides to reuse his trick from earlier, lifting Blastoise Psychically and throwing him into the water, which causes a massive Splash! Luckily that doesn't actually count as Blastoise attacking, so he launches a Blizzard instead. Revenankh drops a Rock Slide on his opponents, though Conkeldurr doesn't seem too troubled by it; he just jumps in the water and hits Blastoise with yet another ThunderPunch! However, due to the tragic mixture of electricity and water, both Blastoise and Conkeldurr find themselves taking a little bit of damage from electrocution.

Alright, creativity gogogo!

Kumo, you're going to need to cooperate with Benkei over there. You're going to have to take the Pain Split to the face, but while Benkei punches Serperior over to the Revenankh, combine Fire Blast and Twister to create a flaming vortex that pushes both of them back into the moat! Then, after you cool off, combine ThunderShock with Thunder and fry everything in the moat for massive damage!

Kumo: Flame Vortex [Fire Blast + Twister] - cooldown - MEGAVOLT [ThunderShock + Thunder] (Moat)
IF (The moat does not contain both Serperior and Revenankh on A3) THEN (Signal Beam (Serperior) instead)

Benkei, you're going to have to take a more supportive role here. Start off by getting out of the moat if you haven't done so already and punch that Serperior as hard as you can into the Revenankh so you can squish them together and make sure they get hit by Kumo's combination attack. Then, rain rocks down upon your enemies to make sure that they won't be getting out of the moat anytime soon. Serperior probably won't be getting out since it's not using any contact moves, but that Revenankh might; if it gets out of the moat on A2, make sure you attack it back in instead.

Benkei: Fire Punch (Serperior into Revenankh) - Rock Shower [Rock Throw + Rock Slide] - cooldown
IF (Revenankh is out of the moat A2) THEN (Payback (Revenankh) on A2 and Rock Slide on A3 instead)

TRG your Serperior has Servine stats. 9_9
I've fixed it, but you better fix your profile.

I had expected things not to go too well, but not this badly... oh well, we've got a chance to pull stuff back into our favor.

Kumo: Mega Thunderbolt (Revenankh) - cooldown / Fire Blast (Serperior) - ThunderShock (Revenankh)
IF (Revenankh is KOed) AND (You are to target it) THEN (Fire Blast (Serperior) instead)

Shinto: Dodge - Tailwind - Air Slash (Serperior)

Engi has no more mons, so TRG sends out and orders.
Also TRG, if you could let Engi get some more KOs so I get more UC that'd be great. :D :D :D

Edit: Forgot to roll for arena

All right i've only got Blastoise left, it actually looks like i'm gonna lose >_>

Uhh...... minor note, I'm getting Psyshock to deal ((8 * 2/3) + 3 - 1.5) * 1.5 = 10.25 DMG, but that's (I think) irrelevant.

Meikun: Ice Beam (Casamilai) - Mega Brine (Casamilai) - cooldown / Brine (Casamilai)
IF (Your action fails due to flinching or full paralysis) THEN (Push actions back)
IF (Casamilai is KOed) THEN (Replace all actions with Brine (Sumvin))

Yeah you're right, I'll dedect the necessary amount of HP

itt engineer makes a crapton of mistakes

MEIKUN: SURF - SURF - SURF
IF (Sumvin uses Bodyblock (Casalimai) successfully) AND (Casalimai has not fainted) THEN (Use Earthquake instead)
IF (Casalimai faints) THEN (Replace all actions with Brine (Sumvin))
IF (Sumvin uses Mirror Coat) THEN (Use Earthquake instead)

If i'm correct in my thinking your last sub is illegal
Subs - Two
you went over which mean I can Mirror Coat without incident

Casalimai-Body Block Sumvin-Chill-Chill(He dies we know >.>)

Sumvin-Chill-Mirror Coat+Mirror Coat-Cooldown

He's correct. But lol why bother. Also yu're both silly, Bodyblock only works on single target moves.

uh, my second sub is a ko sub which is free... I put it in the middle for priority purposes and as far as I can tell there's no rule that says KO subs have to go at the end ?_?
