Today's word is Overanalysed. As in: Thanks to how Jasnumbers Overanalysed the situation, his Salamence is now screeeeeeeewed!

No no. Later maybe. Right now I have to ref this round before Jasnumbers bites my adorable head off!

Now Back to Business, thanks to the previous Dragon Dances, Salamence is faster than the newcomer Skcadi the Syclant. And it manages to wipe out a 15hp substitute just before the mighty BLIZZARD blows it away!

Feeling a liiiiiittle worried, Salamence decides to set up for his partner, as he summons Tailwind on his side of the field. Honestly, he should have summoned a massive Heater so it could take Scadi's ICE BEAM. But he didn't, so the results were....troublesome, to say the least.

Finally, Salamence decides to go the offensive route and attacks with a Tail tough as Iron for considerable damage! Which was great, until Syclant's Rocky Helmet jumped and slapped Salamence in the face for Recoil Damage and then the bug itself used a convenient gray ball of energy to Counter Salamence's attack for great damage. After that attack, on what I can consider the saddest moment in this battle, Salamence ate his Oran Berry and went from "totally screwed" to "still screwed"!

We could end this this turn, but I guess life isn't that simple, uh?

Happy with the burn, Typhlosion now focus on just damage with Flamethrower. Diego, feeling that the end is near and that it will have to face the final curtain, makes the earth shake with an Earthquake.

On the following turn Typhlosion tries a...bigger yet unneeded attack by Combining Fire Blast and Flamethrower and ends the match-up. By an extremely large margin.

jas61292 used a combination action two as I activated his substitution. And the official policy on combinations is that they do full damage if it could have used the two attack seperately and lived fyi. If it couldn't, it would fail.

Fixed.


EDIT: I heard something like that before, but I never saw the actual rule. It is kinda hard for me to accept an "official" policy that isn't written anywhere.

Thanks for the information regardless. At least you explained what the hell "base energy cost" for combos is. If everybody is doing it, then I guess I should do it that way too. Not that it changes anything in this match.
