Type:
Electric: Electric STAB; 50% reduction in paralysis chance from other electrical attacks, perfect accuracy and 30% chance of Protect breaking Thunder during Rain. Superior senses in power plant environments.

Abilities:
Rivalry: (Innate) This Pokemon has a primal response to competition and mating, increasing the Base Attack Power of all its attacks by two (2) when it attacks an opponent of the same gender, and decreasing the power of all its attacks by two (2) when it attacks an opponent of the opposite gender.
Intimidate: (Can be Activated) When this Pokemon initially goes out into the battlefield, it generates an intimidating roar or war cry that shakes all opponents on the battlefield, reducing their Attack stage by one (1). The attack drop is maintained at the end of each round. If an opponent switches in a new Pokemon, Intimidate can be activated again as an Action, and will affect all opponents.
Guts: (Innate) (DW) [Locked] This Pokemon is tenacious and will work ever harder when under a status condition, raising the Base Attack Power of all its physical attacks by two (2). Pokemon with Guts ignore the attack drop from burn.

Sheer Force: (Can be Enabled) (DW) [Locked] This Pokemon can energize all its attacks with secondary effect chances less than 100%. When Enabled, the Base Attack Power of every move with an effect chance less than 100% increases by two (2), but they will never have a secondary effect.

To begin this first round we have Hugh Heffer the Tauros meeting Rampant the Cranidos.

And Hugh Heffer begins by Intimadating the Cranidos with its sheer awesomeness! After that it creates a massive Earthquake that throws Rampant out of balance, making it fall head on on the floor! Wow that is a big hole.

To counter that, Rampant uses its tiny stubby arm to Hammer Arm Tauros for impressive damage! That in exchange for some speed that it won't probably need.

On the second turn Hugh Heffer enters in Zen mode and, cool as cucumber, Headbutts Rampant, probably in an attempt to flinch it. To no avail. The cranidos then counters with a Rock Slide, that would flinch, if it weren't the last move this turn.

Finally, we see a turn 1 redux with Earthquake followed by Hammer Arm with the difference that this time Earthquake managed to get a Critical Hit!.

And the battle so far is really close! let's see how this all pans out.

INTIMIDATE!

Tauros: Earthquake: (10 + 3)*1.5 = 19.5 damage for 7 energy
Crit: 16

Cranidos: Hammer Arm: (10+4)*1.5-1.75= 19.25 damage for 7 energy

Crit: 15
Flinch: 6

Cranidos: Rock Slide: 8 + 3 + 4 -1.75= 13.25 damage for 5 energy

Tauros: Earthquake: (10 + 3 + 3)*1.5 = 24 damage for 7 energy
Crit: 1

Cranidos: Hammer Arm: (10+4)*1.5-1.75= 19.25 damage for 7 energy

Hugh Heffer continues his display of pure manhood as it continues to make the ground shake with Earthquake! Rampant is also capable of dealing damage...but we won't see that this turn as its Rock Slide missed! And that seemed kiiiiinda critical.

The Tauros of pure awesomeness continues to lay down the hurt with yet another Earthquake. Rampant then counters with a massive HULK ARM with those stubby little arms. I bet it would probably KO if it weren't for that unconvenient miss. Hahah.

Hugh Heffer doesn't care for that and seizes the opportunity, ending the combat with a Zen Headbutt that KOes Rampant, proving that he can be calm in the face of a overgrowth fossil that wants to kill it.

Awesome.

Werewolfintophat sends out Mufasa the Sphinx to fight against Hugh Heffer! While it, at first, meant a free hit before the Tauros departs, Hugh preferred to give the kiddo a chance to defeat him as he focused on a COMBO. Such manly piety. And the Shinx manages to Knock Tauros Out with a well-timed Wild Charge, evening out the score!

Froggy the newcomer tries to Hypnosis the Shinx by showing it some old slides of its trip to the north pole. But Mufasa was focused on a cute female Shinx and didn't pay attention! The Move missed!. Some time later, as an attempt the impress the female shinx, Mufasa charges up and Wildly attacks the Poliwag with a Combo.

Froggy then tries the Hypnosis again, by showing the video of two ditto battling, but again Mufasa was looking elsewhere, winking at the female shinx why cooling down. The move missed! Again!

On the final turn, Froggy is sick to death of being ignored and dresses up as a Female Shinx to get Mufasa's attention and then Hypnosis it, making the shinx fall asleep for 1 turn! And that turn is now, as Mufasa is soundly asleep, probably dreaming with....food, of course.

Good job Shinx, now come back.

"Wait! That was your Shinx!?"

What? Hah. I don't eve- ANYWAY. We are back with this lovely battle watching as Froggy does a pretty Rain Dance summoning a torrential rain to the field. But it doesn't seem that Mufasa is bothered by it, as it attacks with Wild Charge, using the extra electricity it stored a couple actions ago.

On the second turn, Froggy tries to flinch his foe with Waterfall, but fails to do so! Even though he was a bit damaged by the attack, Mufasa was capable was continuing his assault by using Volt Switch to electrify the frog-thinge while getting back to a strategic position.

Finally, we see Froggy trying the Waterfall jing-ma-jing once again and it fails to flinch one more time! Today is not Froggy's Lucky day, that is for sure. Speaking of lucky days, this is probably Mufasa's as its Wild Charge managed to Hit a Weak Spot. Its a Critical Hit and Froggy was KO'd. Mufasa and ThePhalanx win this match!
