Our battlers take the time to feel out each others' comfort zones, showing a clash of offense and defense! Matt tries to short out Caiphus, but the jolt is brushed aside by the natural Electric-type. Caiphus turns back, winding up a crushing blow, bulldozing through filth flung at him with intent to envenom. Matt experiences a carnival of pain, plastered to the wall momentarily from Caiphus's punch. As Caiphus nurses is arm from the impact, Matt ups the amp-age and bellows at him, leaving the entire crowd's ears ringing. As we move into the next approach, each combatant seems to be in reasonable condition. Caiphus gets his orders first now--can we expect him to keep his lead?
