Fenris opens his maw and blasts a mighty Fire Spin at Thundah, who darts away withVolt Switch while blasting a pulse of lightning at Fenris, only slightly singed and relieved to not be trapped in a vortex of fire. Nidhogg shoots a Glare at kax$tar, who, paralyzed with fear, is unable to muster the courage to anything. Carp on a poop sandwich.

Fenris Flame Charges through the flaming tornado, activating Flash Fire, but failing to damage anything, as Thundah isn't actually in said flaming tornado. Nidhogg blasts a Leech Seed at kax$tar, which fails to penetrate the shining Protective wall kax$tar summons. Thundah takes advantage of the lull in the fight by roasting Fenris with a wicked Thunderbolt, throwing him back several meters.

Fenris climbs back to his feet and returns fire with a barrage of Embers on Thundah, who, once again, Volt Changes while avoiding most of the attack. Nidhogg follows suit with a Leaf Tornado on kax$tar, which seems to startle him into giving a great Yawn right back. Nidhogg's eyes droop, he's not going to last much longer!

Both sides are weary of their opponents' powerful attacks. Nonetheless, they push on in Round 2!

Fenris once again fires (hoho) a Fire Spin at Thundah, trapping the unfortunate magnet thingy in a maelstrom (thank god for thesauruses) of flames, as Thundah fails to escape with a Volt Change, but shocks him anyway. Nidhogg takes advantage of a trapped opponent to Taunt kax$tar with some very inappropriate pokemon swears. kax$tar, in her rage, fails to pull off a Nasty Plot...

...and is hit with a Flame Charge from Fenris, throwing him several feet, tumbling end over end. Thundah draws energy from the sun and his own electromagnetic power and slams Nidhogg with a Flash Cannon. The light from the attack has a mystic effect on the grass snake, lowering his Special Defense! kax$tar, angry at being largely ineffective, calls on the forces of yore and slams Fenris with a mighty Ancientpower. Nidhogg recovers from the blow, and his body glows with a Mirror Coat, sending a powerful shot of psychic energy right back at Thundah!

Fenris breaks the Fire Spin to release a flurry of Embers at Thundah, who Volt Change out of the way while firing a parting shot of electricity at Fenris. Nidhogg, wounded from Thundah's previous assault, sucks off some strength from kax$tar with a Mega Drain. kax$tar is less than pleased with her new parasite, and throws Nidhogg off with an Assist Power! Nidhogg struggles to climb to his feet...and falls over, snoring, as kax$tar's Yawn from the previous round managed to send him off to dreamland.

Shuriken: Hey Shuriken, remember how clouds are made up from water droplets? Oh yeeah. Surf (should hit all three Pokemon on the field) ~ Hydro Pump (Houndour) ~ Surf

If Houndour tries to evade Surf by jumping on the cloud platforms, fry it with Thunderbolt. If Snivy does it, freeze it with Ice Beam instead. If both Pokemon jump, focus on Houndour.

Kax$tar: First of all, jump onto a cloud platform by using Shuriken as a boost. Then, blast Houndour with an AncientPower (and if it jumps on a platform, try to knock it down). If Taunt wears out by your 3rd action, then either use Protect if Snivy tries to Taunt or Leech Seed you, or Light Screen. In not, then use another AncientPower at Houndour, I guess.

On a final note kax$tar, if you fall down from the platform and Starmie is about to use Surf, drop whatever you are doing and get back on a platform IMMEDIATELY.

Fenris starts things out by surprising Shuriken with a deadly Sucker Punch. Shuriken recoils, but returns fire by swamping the clouds with a powerful Surf, which knocks Fenris out! Nidhogg wakes up just in time to be crushed by a wave, and jumps to a cloud platform to dodge any future tsunamis. kax$tar fails. Then she realizes how faily she's been, and in a textbook case of epiphany therapy, recovers from Taunt.

Angry at Nidhogg's attempts to flee, Shuriken fires off a freezing Ice Beam at him, wounding him heavily. kax$tar follows suit with an Ancientpower. The spirits of long ago seemed to have raised all her stats 1 stage! Nidhogg withstands the abuse, and Mirror Coats a humongous blast of light at Shuriken, throwing it back meters.

Shuriken responds with a second Ice Beam, knocking Nidhogg off his platform. Nidhogg fires a Mega Drain back, restoring some much-maligned health. kax$tar summons all her new power and smashes Nidhogg with a mighty Ancientpower.

With one pokemon gone and the other heavily injured, things don't look too good at the moment. Perhaps Lupus's new pokemon will be able to turn the tables?
