Arena:

Stereotypical Florida beach during a rainy day. Large beach, palm trees scattered around everywhere. The beach and sea meet in the middle of the beach, making the water 30x30 feet and the beach area 30x30 feet. The water goes from five feet deep to fifty feet deep. Current conditions are rainy as fuck (ie Heavy Rain), however these conditions may change. All moves are usable (none of that "oh its hard rock you can't dig" bs).

I have come from the depths of Hell and LagLand to challenge you, HD. You will lose.

Your puny bird... it will be defeated. Go Orchid! Use your Storm Drain to drown this pathetic bird into Hell.

First off, you will Attack. Then, you will Attack. Finally, you will Attack. Sound good?

Aqua Tail - Aqua Tail / Sucker Punch (if Agila readies an attack) - Aqua Tail

With this combo, Agila shall fall.

Oh yeah, here's a picture of her.

Nah Flora, I'm going to make oil out of your whale.

Bulk Up~SHEER FORCE ROCK SMASH~SHEER FORCE ROCK SMASH

Colosshale starts the round by somehow outpacing our favorite feathered friend and hitting it hard with a tail covered in water! Rufflet is blasted away as it flies back into the game. Realizing that she is too light to take on this aquatic mammalian beast, Rufflet determines that she needs to make herself heavier, so she adds some bulk to her plumage with Bulk Up! Needing some more power to knock Rufflet back, Colosshale decides to go with a heavy punch this time and hits hard with Sucker Punch! Despite this hard hit, however, Rufflet is now extremely more prepared offensively and defensively, and it proves this by hitting with incredibly hard with Rock Smash! Colosshale gets hit in the head so it decides to use Aqua Tail again while Rufflet does another Rock Smash.

Colosshale begins the battle by being a cool whale who is faster than a light little bird and using Aqua Tail. The heavy pouring rain made is stronger. Rufflet followed up by Returning the feeling of getting hurt and didn't really do close to the same amount of damage, but it was reasonable. Our cool whale can somehow punch so it uses Sucker Punch and does some damage to the bird who smashes some rocks in Colosshale's face. Colosshale has rocks and RNG in its eyes so it misses the Aqua Tail, and Rufflet returns again.

Yo Orchid, you're going to faint.

Oh wait, you can live! Okay, Taunt first sayin' F U then U-turn to do some damage on the Mega Drain!

7 + (3-2 x 1.5) x 1.5 = 13.

8 + 3 + (3-2 x 1.5) x 1.5 = 19.

Taunt - U-turn - die

SUB U-turn over "die" if you don't die

Taunt should be there for 4 more actions since there wasn't a third action.

Aside from that matter, GO VIOLET!

Let's hope the "however these conditions may change" part of the arena will go into effect sometime soon! Because that would be really useful!

Start off by spitting off some Toxic gas at BROtad because you're mean. Then destroy that pitiful creature with 2 consecutive Venom Shocks! BROtad cannot dodge these moves as he's Taunted! Taunts says that the afflicted can ONLY use attacking moves so go for it! However, if BROtad uses Surf on action 1 or 2, replace the action after with Disable.

Toxic - Venom Shock/Disable if Surf went in at Action 1 - Venom Shock/Disable if Surf went in at Action 2

absorb the toxic spores/gas/etc by trapping it inside the bubbles of BUBBLEBEAM~surf~swords dance
edit: "conditions may change" meant you can use Sunny Day/Sandstorm/etc, not that they would change (pfft, would i really hamper myself???)

random recap for my convenience:

Poison: Poison STAB; immunity to Poison/Toxic, see and breath through smog/smokescreens uninhibited. Dasutodasu, Muk, and Weezing inflict Toxic Poisoning with Solid/Liquid/Gaseous Poison attacks (respectively), Wrap, Haze, and Glare have Energy Cost reduced by one (1).

After a long break, we finally return to Smogon Beach, Florida to witness our two competitors fight to the finish! Gastly starts off the battle by throwing some nasty sludge at Lotad to avenge Colosshale. This Toxic indeed looks extremely discussing, and Lotad knows just as well that it is. To prevent deadly intoxication, a BubbleBeam is released to capture the waste. Each little bubble fills with what looks like a pint of Toxic waste and floats into the air! As it slowly evaporates into the atmosphere, the rain becomes deadly. Taking the chance to deal some heavy damage at this point, Gastly fires off a powerful VenoShock where it hurts! Not knowing that Lotad avoided the Poison, however, Gastly looks down disappointed as it didn't do as much damage as expected. Lotad follows up with a powerful surf. Ouch. Gastly disables Surf so it won't get wet, and Lotad uses Swords Dance for some reason. Its attack raises a lot.

====================

Raw Data

action | effect | energy lost
Gastly uses Toxic | Lotad is poisoned or is it | -7 energy
Lotad uses BubbleBeam | hits the toxic | -8 energy (I doubled the energy because Lotad is releasing a TON of bubbles to get all that sludge. PM all objections to Alch.)
Acid Rain is created! all non-Poison Pokemon take 2 damage per action. Water-type attacks will still be powered up.
Gastly uses VenoShock | 22 damage | -4 energy
Lotad uses Surf | 23 damage | -5 energy
lotad takes 2 damage
Gastly uses Disable | Surf is Disabled for 6 actions | -6 energy
Lotad uses Swords Dance | fail it's taunted
Lotad takes 2 damage

Now that I think of it, perm acid rain is a bit cheap. The weather is now clear and somewhat temperate. If Lotad goes into the water, however, it will activate rain dish.

Gastly begins floating around the stadium collecting poisonous fumes from the trash in the water. As it flies around, it confuses Lotad who has no idea what is going on. Lotad finally gives up and scares Gastly, who screams and drops all the toxic waste on Lotad. Lotad's flesh starts burning from the acid, so it shoots some bubbles at Gastly. These bubbles pop right in the gaseous monster's enormous eyes and do quite a bit of damage! Gastly now is ready to kill Lotad and does so with a Shadow Ball and some VenoShocky sludge.

Astonish, I get 4 + (2-2 x 1.5) x 1.5 = 6. SD was stopped by Taunt. =)

... crap, I just saw Taunt in Card Shark's movepool. Ugh. ugh. ugh.

Okay, let's see if this small substitution works. Keep attacking with Thunderbolt. Replace the first action with Perish Song if Card Shark does not use Taunt (because Water Spout is also a good action for him ;D).

I'm sorry to make one more substitution, but it's because HD's Card Shark could evolve in this match, screwing up every Thunderbolt and making my round useless. If Card Shark evolves, instead of using Thunderbolt, use this routine: uhh... okay, Card Shark's typing would be pretty lame. Lick for the paralysis!

Thunderbolt x3, replace first action with Perish Song if no Taunt

If Card Shark evolves, replace all Thunderbolts with Lick (the same Perish Song substitution applies here)

@below, evolution usually takes that 20% energy and an action if the Pokemon wasn't evolved in the match.

@below2, yes, he chooses if he wants to evolve Card Shark or not. I was just saying if he were to.

HD, Card Shark evolved mid-battle since it was a Colosshale when the battle started, so I need to know if you're going to pay 20 energy to evolve.

edit: Flora, doesn't he get the choice to evolve it?

Colosshale taunts Gastly by saying some really rude things. Gastly gets really mad and starts to charge up static electricity. This obviously makes no sense as Gastly is a ghost! It shocks Colosshale who doesn't die, but instead evolves! After that, a ton of licking and crunching took place.
