Hi, do not post until a winner is decided. Thank you.

Anyways, it started out with Frosty issuing an open challenge for some

random to accept:
Open challenge:

2 vs 2 doubles
DQ Time: 3 Days
No Recovers/ 5 chills
And that random happened to be Doran Dragon, who boldly accepted

his challenge:
Ill accept frosty, as westwind and

doominic have yet to make a thread for the battle.
Since Doran Dragon didn't specify the conditions, I'll assume:
Switch=(Random Word goes here)
Abilities=All
Items=No.

Arena: Your generic rocky cave with no stalagmites (so its a plain arena) and several stalactites spread around the arena in a way that any pokemon will always be right under one of those. Strong attacks that hits the ceiling or the wall may (read: will) drop a stalactite at one of the pokes around dealing 5 damage. Also there is a small pond for you water poke maniacs. Still susceptible to the stalactites though.

Alright, let's start...
ORDER OF OPERATIONS
1. Frosty sends out his 2 Pokemon.
2. Doran Dragon sends out his 2 Pokemon.
3. Doran Dragon issues actions.
4. Frosty issues actions.
5. I spend time Reffing.
6. Frosty issues actions.
7. Doran Dragon issues actions.
8. I test people's patience by taking a while to ref.
9. Repeat from step 3 until a winner is decided.

Alright, Frosty, your first, send your two, & yeah.

I will start (and finish) with Caffie the Syclar and Ruki the Vulpix.

Lets go slither to slither with Rocky the Onix and Enaks-chan the Ekans!

Ok, Enaks-chan, lets start this off with a solid toxic on slycar, then iron tail slycar twice! Rocky, I want you to harden then rollout twice, both on slycar!

Well, two can play the gang up game.

Let's go, Caffie-boy, start by getting near the water pond and use it to fire a Water Pulse at Onix. It should deal enough damage and, more importantly, will make the next attacks much more....pleasant.

Ignore the attacks you face and be on the offensive. Prepare a mighty

capture_09112007_181011.png

Ho ho ho ho ho.

In other words, use those big eyes of yours (Coupoundeyes) to keep a constant hold on that Onix and attack with a Blizzard. Try to hit both Ekans and Onix, but if not possible focus only on the Onix. The other snake can wait.

Before finishing, apply your Mountaineer skills to avoid the rollout and freeze Onix to death with your last Blizzard.

On the meanwhile, Ruki, your orders will be much simpler.

Energy Ball x3 at Onix

and have fun.

So:

Syclar:

Water Pulse - Blizzard - Blizzard focusing all at Onix (Rocky)

Vulpix:

Energy Ball - Energy Ball - Energy Ball also all at Onix (Rocky)

Alrightio, welcome to this ASB Battle between Frosty & Doran Dragon, who are battling in a plain cave without Stalagmites. Let's cut to the action as Frosty sends his Pokemon, & it's a Syclar & a Vulpix, I'm told they are named Caffie & Ruki respectively, & let's see what Doran throws out...It's Rocky the Onix & Enaks-chan the Ekans!

The battle starts out with Caffie, the plucky little Syclar firing a Water Pulse at Rocky! It hits him squarely on the brain! (That is, if Rocky has a brain) It sends him flying to the wall, & it's a critical hit! On top of that, Rocky appears to be feeling dizzy after that big impact, he must be confused! The brutality doesn't stop there for Rocky, as Ruki fires an Energy Ball at Rocky, doing a chunk of damage to Rocky. Will he get a break. So, he's feeling dizzy, but he manages to hear Doran Dragon's command & subsequently Harden himself up, raising his Defences. While all that was happening, Enaks-chan had managed to slither his way behind Caffie & deliver Toxic Poison on Caffie. Poor Caffie...

Not happy about this, Caffie unleashes a Blizzard, which hits both Rocky & Enaks-chan for some decent damage. The silent Ruki continues his Energy Ball rampage, hitting Rocky head-on, as he takes out his frustration on Caffie, despite hiss dizziness, by curling up & going on a Rollout, flattening Caffie, but he pops up & regains his shape, doing so in enough time to dodge Enaks-chan's Iron Tail.

Rocky who's badly wounded by now, snaps out of his dizziness & goes rolling out again, but Caffie doesn't want to be flattened again & uses his Mountaineering skills to jump high, dodging the Rolling Onix & narrowly missing a stalactite. Caffie then tries to hit Rocky with Blizzard, but Rocky was moving too fast for Caffie & thus, Caffie misses. Not to worry, as Ruki fires off an Energy Ball at Rocky, hitting him square on & KOing the Onix. Poor Rocky, didn't get to see the end of the round...Meanwhile, the ever-so silent Enaks-chan finally hits Caffie with Iron Tail as he descends to the ground.

Caffie is in the centre of the arena, while Ruki is as well. Enaks-chan is behind Caffie as the three await their actions. Sorry Doran Dragon, but RNG seems to hate you...

Frosty, you're next.

Caffie! The Ekans is behind you. we don't have the time to turn and prepare an attack, so do it from the ground with Earth Power. It will probably shake things up and drop some stalactites, so be prepared.

After that, while ekans is trying to recover from the attacks, turn and give it a good stare with Leer. Finalize by using the water of the pond to create some Icicle Spears and launch them at your enemy.

Now Ruki, start by confusing Ekans with Confuse Ray. Then use your Extrasensory powers to control one of the Stalactites that fell and throw it at Ekans. Finalize with a good old fashioned Fire Blast.

But be prepared. If you notice the earth shaking due to one of Ekans's actions, Disable it. We have enough to worry as is.

so:

Caffie: Earth Power - Leer - Icicle Spear
Ruki: Confuse Ray - Extrasensory - Fire Blast
Replace any move with disable if Ekans uses Earthquake

Lets immobilize that Fox by intimidatingly glaring at it. I want you to really go for that bug, and iron tail it twice, aim for criticals as best as you can!

Enaks-chan: Intimidate/Glare>>>Iron Tail, aiming for critical spots

ps. perhaps I took the wrong approach to this battle. The best offense is a good defense yes?

Alright, here's Round two. If you missed what happened last Round, check a few posts above me!

Anyways, Caffie starts off the round by shaking the ground by using Earth Power! It hits Enaks-chan for a fair chunk, but the impact also makes a few stalactites fall, forcing me to run to a different place in the cave. Luckily, no one was hurt by the stalactites. Ruki then makes her move, firing off a ray of Confusion. It hits Enaks-chan & he becomes dizzy. Enaks-chan is unfazed by this, & despite the dizziness, he pulls off an intimidating Glare at Ruki. The Vulpix is terrified by this loopy-scary look & he becomes paralysed as a result. Too add further insult to Ruki's injury, Enaks-chan then Sheds his Skin, snapping out of his dizziness as a result.

Not happy with Enaks-chan undoing Ruki's hard work, Caffie starts leering at Enaks-chan, who becomes annoyed, lowering his defences. While Enaks-chan is occupied by the leer, Ruki manages to let off an Extrasensory, knocking Enaks-chan between two nearby stalactites before letting him go as Ruki battles the paralysis. Enaks-chan was not amused, neither was Doran Dragon, as his favourite Ekans, unleashed his Iron Tail...He whacked Caffie with brutal force, but it didn't critically damage his as it seems...

Caffie was now starting to show his wounds, & then fires off an Icicle Spear at Enaks-chan. Three Shards come out, & while Enaks-chan wasn't looking, he gets hit squarely on the brain by the first spear. A Critical hit! That wasn't all though, as two more spears come & hit him, but not critically. The largely ignored Ruki then overcomes his paralysis again to launch a mighty Fire Blast at Enaks-chan, hitting him head-on. Enaks-chan wasn't pleased & he launched yet another Iron Tail at Caffie, hitting him hard.

Caffie & Enaks-chan are facing each other, about one metre apart near the centre of the arena, while Ruki is about three metres away from the two, battling paralysis. All three now await both trainer's actions.

Doran Dragon, you're next. Let's wrap this up!

Ouch, well lets go out with a bang, Enaks-chan, endure whatever is thrown your way, then take that Bug out before you faint with an Iron tail. if your still surviving, I want you to Earthquake till your untimely end.

Enaks-chan: Iron Tail>>>Earthquake till death

"Okay Ruki, try to deliver the finishing blow. Since I've been neglecting you, you don't have much Evolution Counters"

*Ruki looks in a rather cute, yet confused way to her trainer*

"Yeah yeah, you don't know what EC are. That is not important. Just do as I say"

Start by not getting paralysed. That is a key requirement for this to work <_<. Erm, I mean, start roasting that snake with a Fire Blast. Then finish it with Quick Attack. If the snake is somehow still alive, Quick Attack it again.

And Caffie, let's focus first on staying on the game. Start by using protect to avoid the Iron Tail. Then keep firing Icicle Spears until that Ekans faints.

Vulpix: Fire Blast - Quick Attack - Quick Attack
Caffie: Protect - Icicle Spear - Icicle Spear

Okay, the round starts with Caffie protecting himself from any damage, with you guessed it...Protect. Not that it really matters, as Enaks-chan is distracted by the Protection aura & misses with Iron Tail. This proves costly for the Ekans, as Ruki overcomes his paralysis to launch a Fire Blast, which hits Enaks-chan squarely on the brain. A critical hit! And it finishes off Enaks-chan as well! Caffie & Ruki breathe a sigh of relief & dance in joy as Doran Dragon is left to rue what could have been.

Ehh, it was a fun battle to ref. I tried to be as fast as I can with this battle, & yeah, gg guys. To be fair, Doran Dragon did do a fine job, unfortunately, he got haxxed a lot, critted three times, & some unlucky confusion, luckily it didn't impede the battle, And yeah. Maybe a rematch down the road? Other than that, gg you two.
