Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Go Scyther and Mismagius! Scyther will have Technician. Mismagius, you can go through walls, so I want you to walk up to Gastly and use Taunt on it. Then, use Will-O-Wisp on Drillbur! If it is underground, just go underground and use it. Finish off with a Nasty Plot! Scyther, while we're away, I want you to use Quick Attack to dash all the way over there and hit Drillbur with it! Then, sharpen your scythes with Swords Dance, and show Gastly what hurts with Night Slash!
Mismagius: Taunt on Gastly ~ Will-O-Wisp on Drillbur ~ Shadow Ball on Gastly
Scyther: Quick Attack on Drillbur (use its Speed and your naturally high Speed to get to the other side of the maze) ~ Swords Dance ~ Night Slash on Gastly
EDIT: It isn't showing up for some reason, so Geb is in the upper left, Mismagius in the upper right, Scyther in the bottom left and Casper in the bottom right corner.
Casper, while Mismagius is coming towards you, prepare for a Hypnosis that will hit the Mismagius as soon as she sees you. Then use Will-O-Wisp on Scyther, finishing with a Shadow Ball on Mismagius. If Hypnosis misses, then use Thunderbolt against Scyther on the second action.
Geb, first turn use Rock Slide to greet the Scyther coming to you. Then, use Swords Dance, and finish with another Rock Slide on Scyther. If Hypnosis fails, then use Sandstorm on to distort the Will-o-wisp flames, and avoid getting burnt.
Btw, remember danmantincan, that since his pokemon are coming to me, they lose time and so I can move as soon as they get to me.
The round starts and Mantis takes the initiative and dashes Quickly through the maze. He comes across Geb, who appears to be making a pile of rubble, and Attacks him. Geb then grabs some Rocks from his pile and Slides them over Mantis, burying him underneath. On the other side of the maze, both Casper and Breeze are fazing through the walls, searching for each other. Capser than hears a noise and stops. He stares in the direction of the noise and his eyes glow red, it seems like he will try to hypnotize whoever, or whatever, appears. Breeze rounds the corner and locks eyes with Casper, unable to break the gaze. She is able to keep her head long enough to begin Taunting Casper. Her taunting breaks Casper's focus, rendering her hypnotizing stare useless.
Breeze keeps searching the maze, trying to join up with her partner. She hears the fighting between Geb and Mantis, and rushes towards the fray. She sees Mantis rise from beneath the rubble, hurt from Geb's onslaught. Breeze the fires (pun intended) a Will-o-Wisp hoping to add some residual damage onto Geb. Mantis and Geb stare each other down, when music starts to blare throughout the maze. The two then begin to break out into spontaneous (Swords) Dancing.
Breeze once again disappears through a wall towards Casper. She sees her target and launches a Ball made of Shadowy energy. Mantis then bolts through the maze, trying to stick with his teammate. Casper than fazes through the wall behind Mantis and hurls a Thunderbolt at the bug. Mantis turns around as his claws are engulfed with a dark energy, black as Night, and Slashes at Casper. Geb finally finishes dancing and begins kicking at the ground, creating a Sandstorm.
Scyther, we can beat Gastly this turn! Drillbur's Rock Slide might hurt a bit, so we're going to counter it with Counter! Mismagius, I want you to hit Gastly with a powerful Shadow Ball. Next, Mismagius, I want you to hit Drillbur with a powerful Energy Ball. Scyther, finish off Gastly with a powerful Night Slash! Scyther, We don't want to take that ugly Rock Slide to its fullness. Roost on the ground and heal yourself. Mismagius, use Magical Leaf on Drillbur!
Mismagius starts the round by fazing through the wall and firing a Ball of Shadows directly into Casper, who responds in kind by launching another Shadow Ball of his own at Breeze. Geb grabs more of the rubble and buries Mantis underneath the overwhelming Rock Slide. Mantis appeared to be ready for the attack, as he Counters it by knocking the rocks back into Geb.
Mantis then turns towards Casper, ready to deliver the killing blow. His claws become engulfed in the same energy as before and he charges Casper. Mantis connects with the powerful Night Slash, dropping the ghost permanently. Breeze begins to gather Energy, though she is having trouble doing so with the arena. She shapes the energy into a Ball and fires it towards Geb. Geb decides that the best way to respond is to continue its Swords Dance of last round.
Mantis sees a rather comfortable spot atop of the pile of rubble and decides to Roost upon it.Geb is angry that anyone would dare to touch his supreme pile of debris and creates another Rock Slide on top of Mantis, making him part of the pile. Leaves then begin to form around Breeze's body. Each Leaf, imbued with Magical energy, shoots off and connects with Geb, despite his attempts to dodge.
Mismagius, that Bagon looks pretty dangerous to Scyther, so let's incapacitate it with Will-O-Wisp. Next, use Nasty Plot to boost your Special Attack. Finish off with Shadow Ball on Bagon!
Scyther, defeat Drillbur with Wing Attack! We're at some pretty low health here, so use Roost! Next, hit Bagon with Wing Attack.
Mismagius, if Bagon uses Flamethrower on Scyther not on the first action, use your epic Speed to replace your action with a Psywave. Not to hit Bagon, but to change the direction of Flamethrower to not hit anyone.
Bagon, start with a Hydro Pump to put out the flames of the Will-O-Wisp. Then dance like a dragon before using Shadow Claw against Mismagius.
Drilbur, hide in the Sandstorm so that Scyther cannot see you and launch a Rock Slide. Then use Swords Dance and finish with a Rock Slide against Mismagius
Fire Blast, I accidentally issued four actions for my Scyther. I'm just going to take out the last one (X-Scissor) so it's legal. If you need to change anything to correspond with my actions, although I don't see why you would need to, go ahead.
Hasty: A 15% increase (rounded up) in Base Speed and a +5% increase in accuracy (e.g. 85 becomes 90) on this Pokemon's attacks; Subtracts * from Defense
Type: Dragon
Dragon STAB; Roar has have Energy Cost reduced by one (1).
Abilities:
Rock Head: This Pokemon’s hard body prevents it from taking recoil damage from moves such as Double-Edge, Flare Blitz, and Head Smash. (Inate)
I'm sick but I don't want to hold this up, so I'm just posting the calcs and whatnot. Geb died. Pytho's Hydro Pump succeeded in eliminating the Will-o-Wisp and kept going to hit Breeze. Sandstorm lasts for 2 more rounds.
this is pretty random, but I'm going to use my KO counter as an EC. That's 6/6 including the EC gained from this battle, but I'll keep it a Scyther for the duration of this battle (but it will be evolved outside)
Okay guys, this is do or die time! Not really, but drama is dramatic :O
Mismagius, I want you to burn that Bagon with a Shadow Ball, Chill, and another Shadow Ball!
Scyther, be prepared to take some hits. Let's use Wing Attack ~ Chill ~ Wing Attack!
Since the Pokemon are tied in Speed, let Scyther get the kill!
Pytho can tell that he is in trouble, as he stares towards his two opponents. Mantis and Breeze allow no time for rest as they begin to strike. Mantis starts the Attack by slamming his Wing into Pytho. And right as Mantis moves, Pytho gets struck by a powerful Shadow Ball from Breeze. Pytho is ready to return the assualt, as his Claw becomes engulfed in a Shadowy aura and he slashes at Breeze.
Breeze and Mantis decide that they want to give Pytho a shred of hope before finishing him, so they just Chill for a little bit. Pytho doesn't let up though, and he breathes a stream of fire. Mantis takes a hard hit from the Flamethrower and stands back up, preparing for the final blow.
Mantis flies towards Pytho and strikes him with another Wing Attack. Pytho begins to wobble, and crashes to the ground. -Charmander- Wins!
